I haven't written romantic stuff in a while, have I? Here, have a sickeningly romantic drabble.

Farin enters the bedroom and smiles. Bela is already fast asleep, his mouth slightly open and his breathing regular and deep. His dyed black hair hangs messily on his forehead, making him look younger.

Farin runs his hands through his own tousled, wet hair. He needs to bleach it again.

He kneels down on the floor beside the bed and sighs. They're just words, he thinks as he watches Bela, just words. Nothing to be afraid of. So why can't he ever say them when they're both awake?

He leans close and whispers in his friend's ear.

"I love you."

Guess who's going to all 3 Ärzte concerts in Berlin next year! YES! I got a ticket for the 3rd show through the fanclub, so I'll see all 3 gigs. Besides, the 2nd June is a holiday in Italy, so I shouldn't have problems if I want to take a day off during the weekend. :D IF I'm going to be in Italy at all, that is.

*getting slighty anxious about my internship and future in general*

Other than that, I was in a sappy romantic mood yesterday and wrote this drabble.

Jan turns his head. Dirk is sitting on the pavement next to him, legs crossed and a half-smoked cigarette between his index and middle finger. The drummer always walks him to the bus stop after they're done with rehearsals and waits for the bus with him.

"Tonight would be the perfect night for a romantic date, girls are always more... willing on full moon nights." He looks at Jan and grins.

Jan doesn't speak, he just smiles and looks up. He wouldn't want to spend tonight with anyone else. Anyone but Dirk.

Ticket für Bela B y Los Helmstedt in Mannheim: bestellt! Wait, why am I writing in German? o_O Probably because I've been looking at German sites since yesterday. Anyway, I ordered tickets for 5 out of 6 of Bela's concerts, the only one missing is Open Flair, but at the moment there are only 3-day passes available and I don't want to pay 58 € for that. Does anyone know if there are single day-tickets available anywhere? I'm also a bit worried about my Lake07 ticket, why is it taking so long to arrive? :( But I got the confirmation email from the DÄ fanclub, I ordered the right tickets in the end, Bremen and Mannheim. I'll go to the bank to pay for them on Monday. Life's good.

I've just got an idea for another Los Helmstedt cartoon. Actually, it will be a whole comic-strip this time, but I don't know if I'll be able to draw it. I'll just do the storyboard and see what comes out of it. I also need to get a new website, as the old one is gone forever. *one minute silence*

"Oh yes, you loved it all right." Farin leaned down and whispered something in his ear.

Bela blushed to the roots of his hair. "Right. That one."

Farin gave him a devilish grin. "You won't forget anymore after I'm done refreshing your memory tonight."

I'M FREE!!!

Yesterday was my last day of work, a day which risked to be ruined because a fucking pickpocket tried to steal my wallet at the station in Turin. >:O I was in front of the ticket counter when the girl in front of me told me: "Someone's just tried to steal your purse."

I thought it was impossible at first because I hadn't noticed anything, but when I checked I saw the zip of my bag was open. *cue panic* Luckily nothing was missing, one of the men at the counter had seen everything and yelled something at the thief, who promptly went away. My wallet was under a layer of stuff, tissues, biscuits and a tangerine, and my little bag was so stuffed the bastard would have had some difficulties stealing it anyway, but the fact I didn't notice ANYTHING creeped me out. The guy at the counter even said the thief had opened my bag while I was walking! And I didn't notice! :O

I'm always very careful, especially when I'm in train stations, I always wear my bag across the shoulder and keep it in front of me, sometimes I even turn it around so the front side faces my hip. You need to lift a flap and open the zipper to actually reach inside, so I try to make it as hard as possible for pickpockets, but yesterday it had slid behind my back while I was walking and the bastard took advantage of my distraction at once. *sends curses to the fucker*

The first thing I did when I arrived in Milan was hugging my dad and telling him everything. I didn't tell my mum though, she's already anxious enough. And needless to say, I was so nervous I woke up 3 times last night. *sigh* But nothing happened in the end, I'll just try to be even more careful in the future.

Sorry for the rant, but I needed to vent.

Oh boy, I don't get online for 4 days and the whole world changes without me noticing. All right, not the whole world, but Markus Karg leaving the Ärzte fanclub was a bit shocking. I wanted to send him an email, but kept pulling it off and decided I would send it today and then this morning I find out he's gone. WTF? I wrote to him anyway, I had a couple of things to ask him. Some people at the BademeisterBoard are glad he's away, but I'm actually a bit sad. I mean, I didn't know him at all, I only talked to him twice, but he was always very nice. I hope they'll find someone to replace him soon.

It looks like 2007 is the year of changes: first Bela's drums roadie, then Markus. And not just that: a girl working in my office had a sudden job offer and resigned last week, I was really surprised when she told me. And let's not forget I'm resigning too and going back to university. At the moment I signed an agreement that allows me to take a 3-month break, meaning I won't be working for 3 months starting from mid-February and then I can decide whether I want to go back or resign. All these sudden changes are making me kinda nervous. I know they have nothing to do with my life, but it's a strange coincidence.

And apropos WTF: there were 24°C (around 80° Fahrenheit) on the hills outside Turin yesterday. o_O It's January! It's supposed to be cold! I like warm and sunny weather, but man. In Northern Europe there was a typhoon with winds blowing at 180 KM/h and here it's like spring. Quoting Mr Farin Urlaub (or was it Bela?): "Klimakatastrofe, I love you."

"You want to what?" Rod put his beer back on the table and stared at his two bandmates with an incredulous expression on his face.

"To play a concert on New Year's Eve. What's so strange about that?" Farin replied with an amused smile. He stirred his tea and took a sip.

"You said an open-air concert."

"Yes. What's wrong with that?"

"An open-air concert. At the end of December. The fans are going to freeze to death; we are going to freeze to death."

Bela shrugged and made a vague gesture with his hand. "We could give out Glühwein to the audience..."

"And non-alcoholic Orangenpunsch." Farin butted in.

The drummer rolled his eyes. "Yeah, that too. And it won't be so cold on stage, we're going to use a lot of lights, maybe some fire too."

"It won't be cold for you maybe," Rod retorted. "You can play wearing gloves. My fingers are going to freeze and fall off."

"Oh, don't be like that. It'll be amazing, the greatest show of the century."

Rod sighed and shook his head. "I still think that's the craziest idea I've heard in a long time."

Farin grinned. "That's why we love it."

It's the very end of "A forest", when Simon goes crazy and plays like a madman. Poor dear, he was under a lot of stress back then, he even had a nervous breakdown. *huggles*

So tonight there's the first match for Italy in the World Cup: Italy vs Ghana. According to a dream I had the other night, we are going to lose. I hope it wasn't one of my premonition dreams or my colleagues will kill me.

I went to Milan on Saturday and got myself a nice rust-coloured top, a black turtleneck and a black short-sleeved hooded jacket. I'm also quite pleased because I went to the swimming pool yesterday and did much better than the week before, I swam more and was less tired.

And to add something interesting to this entry... A drabble!

Farin's hair was on fire.

"Cool..." He muttered and gingerly reached for it.

Farin grabbed his wrist. "You're high again, aren't you?" Bela looked at him with hollow eyes. "Christ. Why the fuck do I even bother?" He let go of Bela's wrist and left the club without looking back. Once in his hotel room, he leaned his back against the wall and pressed the heels of his hands into his eyes.

"Fuck you, Dirk."
