So, I've got a fic I've been working on. Long story short -- I need to decide what kind of car Rico will get himself in my post-canon story. On the show, he drives a 1964 Cadillac De Ville convertible. I think he still needs a convertible, but I'm unsure if he should just get another Caddy.

Any suggestions?

I'm toying with the idea of a Barracuda, but not sure if that's too sporty for his tastes. Sonny's the one who is more partial to the muscle cars. I want it to be cool yet stylish. But not too high end.  Has to have a back seat, because Sonny's car doesn't and they may need to have passengers sometimes. LOL. Has to be a convertible so they can cruise the streets of San Francisco with the wind blowing their hair. 😉 I don't think he'd want anything too fancy/expensive (or would he?), but if I see something I think he'd like I'll find a way to have him get it.

The premise of the fic series is that Sonny and Rico have moved to San Francisco after leaving the force, and are working as private investigators, mostly helping those in the LGBTQ+ community who need it. Sonny still has the Testarossa (Sonny jokes that it's his 'gold watch'), but Rico needs wheels.

That said, anyone have any experience with SF and Castro Street in 1990?
