Changes. And drabbles (finally!)

gothikmausOh boy, I don't get online for 4 days and the whole world changes without me noticing. All right, not the whole world, but Markus Karg leaving the Ärzte fanclub was a bit shocking. I wanted to send him an email, but kept pulling it off and decided I would send it today and then this morning I find out he's gone. WTF? I wrote to him anyway, I had a couple of things to ask him. Some people at the BademeisterBoard are glad he's away, but I'm actually a bit sad. I mean, I didn't know him at all, I only talked to him twice, but he was always very nice. I hope they'll find someone to replace him soon.
It looks like 2007 is the year of changes: first Bela's drums roadie, then Markus. And not just that: a girl working in my office had a sudden job offer and resigned last week, I was really surprised when she told me. And let's not forget I'm resigning too and going back to university. At the moment I signed an agreement that allows me to take a 3-month break, meaning I won't be working for 3 months starting from mid-February and then I can decide whether I want to go back or resign. All these sudden changes are making me kinda nervous. I know they have nothing to do with my life, but it's a strange coincidence.
And apropos WTF: there were 24°C (around 80° Fahrenheit) on the hills outside Turin yesterday. o_O It's January! It's supposed to be cold! I like warm and sunny weather, but man. In Northern Europe there was a typhoon with winds blowing at 180 KM/h and here it's like spring. Quoting Mr Farin Urlaub (or was it Bela?): "Klimakatastrofe, I love you."
And finally, the drabbles I wrote last week. I wanted to post them earlier but forgot the files at home. I'm an idiot :P

One of Bela's drumsticks broke in the middle of the song. The tip flew past Farin's head, but he didn't stop playing.
"You're really into it today, aren't you?" The guitarist said once the song was over.
"This will be our best gig!" Bela dropped the broken drumstick and reached for a new one.
"As long as nobody throws bottles on stage, I'm happy."
"Come on, it only happened once!"
"Easy for you to say, you're standing all the way back."
Bela looked him straight in the eye. "That was Soilent Grün. We're Die Ärzte now. They're gonna love us."

Farin sat down on the couch in the dressing room, exhausted but happy. "You really did it in the end."
Bela sprawled down next to him. "I told you I would."
"I thought you wouldn't dare."
"Why not? A little friendly kiss is nothing compared to some of the things I've done on stage over the years. I didn't even use tongue."
"I think a couple of girls in the front row had a heart attack when they saw that," Rod said reaching for another bottle of champagne. "Some of them really believe you're more than friends, you know."
"What? You mean you don't know? We've been lovers for years, Rod."
"Yeah, Jan's got 'Property of Bela B.' tattooed on his butt."
"And now you're finally making an honest man out of me. When's the next flight to Las Vegas?"
Rod shook his head. It was impossible to have a serious conversation with those two. He raised his glass and made a toast. "To the happy couple."
Bela rested his head on Farin's shoulder. "See? We even have Rod's blessing."
"I'm looking forward to the honeymoon."
Bela grinned. "You won't be able to sit down for a week after that."
