Double drabble!

Eeep, I just booked the German course I'm going to attend in Berlin in September! *waits anxiously for the confirmantion email*

Well, I was quite productive today. I wrote a double drabble for drabbles100 and some more of a Richy/Igor fanfic I started some time ago. I haven't had the time or energy to do much lately, things were quite hectic at work and I really didn't feel like sitting in front of the PC when I got home in the evening. Hopefully things will slow down a bit next week. But it's going to be a short week anyway, since tomorrow I'll stay home because I'm going to the doctor and Friday is a holiday.

But without further ado... The drabble!

Title: Forget

Bela considers himself damn lucky to have met Rodrigo. He's a great musician, one of those people who can turn even the dullest guitar riff into something special. Bela could spend hours watching him play. He likes looking at him when he's composing a melody or getting lost in a solo, withdrawing into his own little world as if everything around him didn't exist anymore.

Bela can't imagine anyone else being the guitarist in his new band. They even share the same passion for Kiss. They spent many nights playing random Kiss songs, totally drunk and totally out of tune.

He's working hard, he wants to start again with Depp Jones and forget about Die Ärzte. Sometimes he even thinks he can forget Farin too.

But then he looks into Rodrigo's eyes and everything comes back. Girls say his brown eyes are lovely, deep and exotic. But when he looks into them, he can't help but think of Farin's. Those grey eyes that turn darker or lighter according to his mood. He saw all kind of emotions reflected in those eyes: happiness, anger, love. And no matter how hard he tries, he knows he'll never be able to forget them.

d'aaww, a nice and somehow sad one. I liked the describtion of the eyes.. I could write pages and pages about eyes - eyes are wonderful windows to the soul ^_^

ARGH! *runs to fix poor Rod's name* I really should re-read my posts before submitting them. I mean, I always re-read stories, but never the header. Duh. Thanks for pointing that out. ^_^'

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, I've had this idea floating around in my mind for some time and today I finally managed to write it down. Hopefully there will be more soon. Without typos this time. :P

Don't worry, you didn't sound like a know-it-all. ;) And I understand about screwed up surnames, people always get mine wrong. :P

And I found 2 more typos, which were promptly fixed. I should really pay more attention when I post. -__-

Yeah, I know, sometimes our guitarist starts playing something and I'm like "Ehm, what am I supposed to do now?" Or we have to play a riff twice, instead he goes on and on and on, so I just follow him. X)

I totally agree with what Phistolemon wrote. The last paragraph is so...guh...really beautiful!! ♥♥ I also love the stuff with eyes (drawing eyes...awwwww!) and that one's brilliant. *sighs*

Thank you! :D I don't know why, but when I was reading the prompts and came to "brown" I immediately thought of a comparison between Rod's and Farin's eyes.
