OK, I must be the biggest idiot on the planet, but I've never made the connection until now. Sophia Myles, who played Beth in Moonlight, also played Madame Pompadour in a Doctor Who episode. Which means she kissed both Alex O'Loughlin and David Tennant. Some people have all the luck...

Also, don't you just love Tumblr?

I know I do )

Fuck. I knew I should never have started watching Moonlight. 2 episodes in and I'm already hooked.

Damn you, Alex. Damn you to hell.

I mean, I'm only human. CAN YOU BLAME ME? )

OMG, I wrote porn! :O Sort of. It's been almost a year since I wrote anything even vaguely porny, I thought I had forgotten how to write sex scenes. Apparently, I just needed the right stimulus.

I recently read "Standing up in Fire" by [livejournal.com profile] delicatale, a beautiful H50/Moonlight crossover, bittersweet and touching. Towards the end of the story Danny casually mentions some dreams he's had and my muse was very intrigued...

A big thank you to [livejournal.com profile] delicatale for giving me permission to write and post this ficlet! :)

Title: Siamese Dream
Pairing: Steve/Danny/Mick (H50/Moonlight crossover)
Rating: R
Word count: 450
Warnings/Spoilers: none
Summary: Danny has a dream.
Author's note: A sort of missing scene from "Standing up in Fire" by [livejournal.com profile] delicatale. While reading it isn't strictly necessary (mine is just a short PWP after all), I highly recommend it because it's a beautiful fic. The scene I wrote takes place sometime before the last paragraph. Title stolen from a Smashing Pumpkins album.

Danny wakes up slowly... )

Everyone's doing it, so why not.

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Last night I gave Moonlight a try. And I spent the whole time laughing. Mainly because I was watching it on TV (I found out last week they're airing reruns on one of the many new digital channels) and Alex's voice was... I mean, the Italian actor they chose does a lot of dubbing work and has a beautiful voice, but he just doesn't sound like Alex at all. Also, usually when you dub a foreign actor, you always use the same dubber, but that doesn't happen with new, not-so-popular actors, so the guy dubbing him in Moonlight isn't the same one as in Hawaii Five-0 and that sounds really weird. Whatever, I'll just watch the original version online.

Also, talking about Hawaii Five-0, since I was teasing my mum telling her I've already seen the whole first season, yesterday she told me "You know, they're airing it in the afternoon too. I can watch it and you can't! Hah!" (Yes, we act just like little kids.) I checked and saw it was the original '70s series and told her so. Then last night I asked her "So, how was it?" She looked quite disappointed and said "It's so... serious". Yeah, I suppose bromantic bickering wasn't very popular back then. XD

And while we're talking about bromance:

I know these pictures are old, but I only found them today and... GOD.

My crush on this man is ridiculous. But how am I supposed to resist when he's all vamped up like that!? I've always liked supernatural creatures, but vampires? My all-time favourites, hands down. I've been fascinated by them ever since I can remember, I probably still have the special issues on vampires that I found in a kid magazine I used to read when I was in primary school: I read and re-read them, took the pages out and put them away, they must be somewhere in my parents' attic.

And you know what's funny? The first time I visited my aunt in the US I was totally head over heels with "Interview with the vampire", I watched the film on TV almost every day (yeah, I know, I was a pathetic 15-year-old, but hey, my English got so much better thanks to the repeated viewings). And now, after all these years, I'll probably spend my Sunday evenings in her living room watching True Blood. My relatives are so going to think "Well, some things never change, do they?" XD
