I could bitch about my boss (really, I have no more words) or about the fact that first I got otitis, then I got bronchitis and now my ribcage hurts so much my doctor thinks I may have cracked my ribs from too much coughing.

But I'm not going to. Because I got myself a very early birthday present the other day: I bought a ticket to see Luca e Paolo's play in March (it's the same play I saw 2 years ago, but I never get tired of those two). Also, I'm done writing the articles for this week, so I can relax and watch the two latest H50 episodes. Thank God I downloaded them yesterday, my internet connection is so effing slow tonight.

OK, I know most people on my flist have no idea who these two guys are (Luca Bizzarri and Paolo Kessisoglu, my favourite Italian actors, I saw them on stage in Milan last Sunday), but I love them and found a wonderful photo shoot where they are all over each other and they look so good in suits and I just. I can't.

A few more pics here )

Um, yeah, I was supposed to work, yes... >_>

Sorry for the 2 posts in the same day, but I've just found out, totally by chance, that Luca e Paolo (see icon) will be in Milan with their new show in little more than 2 weeks. And they'll be at the same theatre where I used to work! Oh, why couldn't they do that while I was still actually working there, dammit. Anyway, I've just bought a ticket for the 4th December. YAAAY! :D

I had been waiting for this moment for years: Luca & Paolo (see my icon) kissing. And tonight they finally did it. And for a good cause too, it was to protest against a homophobic comment made by one of our stupid politicians. Oh, I love them. T_T

EDIT: Found a picture of it!

:O )

Anyway. I can't believe I haven't written about the DÄ concert yet. Well, that's not true, I did write a post about it, in my Italian blog.

The gig itself was quite exhausting, they played a very punk setlist with only a couple of slower songs ("Omaboy", "Die traurige Ballade von Susi Spakowski", "Geld") and I was standing right in the middle of the pogo. I arrived at the club around 6:15 pm, but I still got a brilliant spot in the second row. The stage was quite small and only when the concert started I realised my position was a bit too central (I usually tend to stay to the side as it's quieter), but I had a lot of fun anyway. I only took 3 photos then I gave up and just enjoyed the show.

They didn't chat as much as they usually do (the concert was "only" 2 hours, not the usual 3 hours), but at one point they started to ramble about something and I pretty much lost track of what they were saying. The inside joke of the night was, of course, the Zwickau gig.

Farin said something about them being like a family and the concert being like a big reunion or something. At that Bela started calling him "Schatz". Later Farin called Bela "Schatz" as well, and Bela commented "Ah, jetzt bist du höflich". XD Oh, how I'd missed them.

I didn't hang about for long after the concert, just enough to drink the most disgusting ice-tea I've ever drunk (mint-flavoured, it was like drinking chewing gum) and rest my poor, abused feet a bit. Luckily the hostel was quite close to the venue. Also, the security blocked the street I had come from, so we had to make a detour to go back into town. I suspect it was to prevent residents' complaints about the noise. And it wasn't even 11 pm! Tsk, Switzerland.

I had time to visit Solothurn the day of the concert and the next day (Easter), it's really a lovely little town. But the Swiss accent will kill me. But more than that, Schwyzerdütsch will kill me. I always had to say "Wie bitte?" so that people would speak German, it was quite frustrating. But I ate the best bread ever at breakfast at the hostel, so I'm not complaining too much.

And now I'd better go to sleep, I have to go to work in the morning. Gute Nacht!

One of the many reasons why I love Luca e Paolo (the two guys in my icon):

They had the balls to make fun of Berlusconi during the biggest Italian TV show EVER (Festival di Sanremo). And not late at night either, but at 10:30 PM. I'm not going to translate the whole song, but it's basically about all the quarrel between him and his former right-hand man, Gianfranco Fini.

I don't know if they'll ever work for Mediaset again after this, though...

I went to see Luca e Paolo's theatre play. Man, I love those two, especially when they talk with a Genoese accent. ♥♥♥

Too bad none of my friends wanted to go with me. Oh, well, I'm used to it by know. By the way, yes, I'm back in Milan, I'll go back to Berlin on the 12th February. I have two memes to post, but I'll do it tomorrow.

First of all: Look at these AMAZING cakes! :O

Then: Luca e Paolo (see icon), my two favourite Italian comic actors, are beginning their theater tour this week from Milan. And they're staying in Milan until the end of the month! I don't care if none of my friends want to go with me, I'm going to see them. I mean, it's fate they're playing in Milan just when I'm back, I can't miss them.

And, last but not least, part 2 of the picture meme: [livejournal.com profile] flaschengeist wanted to see my Kiez. There isn't much to see actually, so I just took pictures of the places I see most of the time, that is, the street where I live, the way to the U-Bahn station, the way to the supermarket and the park.

This way, please )
