After seeing reels upon reels on how to make simple watercolour Christmas cards on Instagram, I decided to experiment a bit. They are very basic, but I had to start somewhere.
(Yeah, I know the snow on the tree branches looks totally wrong in the second one, bear with me.)
I'm seeing a resurgence of interest in traditional arts and crafts. 5 years ago, almost nobody cared. Now a lot of people are so frustrated with AI, they are frobbing around in search of things it can't do. It can, sort of, make digital art; but it can't hold a paintbrush. It can make terrible patterns but it can't knit or crochet. It can't do seat-weaving, drop-spinning, blacksmithing, leatherworking -- anything that relies on hands. I think it's awesome that more people are making things.
