I finally got around to change my site's layout, the new one is much easier to maintain.

>>> Whispers <<<

I only checked it with Firefox and Internet Explorer, but it should work with other browsers too, it's really quite simple. Also, reading some of my older stuff makes me cringe. D: Thank God I had already taken down the very first fanfics I wrote, those were truly awful. And while I was checking to see if everything worked, I found stories I had completely forgotten. I was like "Um, when did I write this?" I can't believe I've been writing fanfiction for 11 years. I haven't written/drawn much lately, but still. 11 years.

I still have a cough and I guess I'll be stuck with it for another week at least, judging from past experience. And it doesn't help that the air around here isn't exactly mountain fresh, when we were driving home from the airport the other day I thought I was going to suffocate, I'm not used to Milan's smog anymore after spending 2 weeks at the seaside.

The big bruise of doom is slowly getting better, but it's going to take a while for it to fade completely.

What else? I feel like drawing, I'll go read something and look for inspiration...

I like the layout. Nice and simple :)

Ugh, I get like that when I go to a city. London is especially bad. I can actually feel my face getting dirty just from walking about for a couple of hours, and the inside of my nose always gets coated in grime D: It's rank, but I'm used to living in dah countryside with its fresh air and bracing sea air X3

Draw Sherlock getting a queen bee through the post and being ridiculously excited about it! :D And John's all "WTF A BEE IN THE POST".

It's better in my town, but while we were driving through the highway that runs around Milan I really couldn't breathe.

Wait, do you mean a real bee? How can you send a bee through the post? o_O

I bet you the label reads "BEE CAREFUL" on it X3

Lol yes I mean a real bee ;) A lot of beekeepers buy bees online, whether it's to replace stock or start up a new hive. Sometimes they buy unmated queens so they can breed them, or they buy pre-mated queens so that they can trace the breed line and know they are getting healthy bees with a good temper or are good producers. Sometimes they need to replace the queen in a hive too, and it's can be better to do it yourself so you can control it rather than have them produce a new queen themselves and swarm off into the sunset X3

Your layout is lovely! Very simplistic :) Works fine in Opera!

It takes a while to readjust when you've spent time in fresh air, but I hope your cough goes away soon.

Hello! Sorry I've been totally absent around here lately. But I got your postcard yesterday, thank you! I had totally forgotten whether or not I requested one, so it was a very nice surprise :)

Hope your bruise and your breathing get better <333

I'm glad you got the postcard! :) And yes, the bruise is slowy (very slowly) fading away.

Also, I still haven't decided if I'm going to visit my relatives in NJ or not (I may have a last-minute job interview next week), but if I do, I was thinking I could maybe pay you a visit? If that's OK with you, of course.

OMG YAY! Yes, that would be excellent! Just let me know when you'd be coming. (If you could manage to swing a weekend, it would be better for me schedule-wise, but if not I could manage too.) :D

Would it be OK if I arrived on a Saturday morning and left on Sunday evening? It would be either the second or third weekend of August (IF I go to the US at all, that is.)

How long does it take to go from NYC to Boston by bus, by the way?

That would be perfect! And if you come the third weekend, we could go see Fright Night and drool over David Tennant in eyeliner and leather pants. But either weekend should be fine!

It's about four hours by bus.

Now THAT is an incentive. I'll see what I can do. ;)

Seriously, if I don't hear from the job agency by tomorrow afternoon, I'll give them a ring (they called me on Friday and told me someone might contact me for a job interview this week), then I'll call my aunt to see if her invitation still stands (I guess it does, she's been asking me when I'm going to visit her for the last 15 years) and then I'll book my flight. Which is going to be so expensive, but hey, that's my own fault.

I'll keep you updated. :)
