I pretty much never rec fics, but the following story combines my two current fandoms and I wanted to spread the love.

Just a little warning: even reading the summary will totally spoil you for the end of Season 1 of Hawaii Five-0.

His attention is captured by a reconciled couple who are expecting their second child, but it's not hard to work out that things between them are not going all that swimmingly.

There are 3 Hawaii Five-0 Big Bang communities? Three? Two with writer deadlines mid-June, i.e. this week, and one in November? Why? Why? Ugh, my head hurts.

Anyway, here's some silly Sherlock fanart. I drew the sketch quickly during lunch break and finished it tonight. I'm sure there must be something like this somewhere, but I didn't find it anywhere and thought I'd draw it myself.

The quality isn't stellar, my scanner is dying. I kept the sketch beneath the drawing, I like the way it looks.

Also: why, yes, I love bad puns, how did you guess?

Uh, I haven't posted anything for two weeks, there's very little going on at the moment and I got lazy. My art muse got lazy as well, but I wanted to draw something for Valentine's Day (even if I hate it), so yesterday I sat down and didn't get up until I had something at least partially done.

After much beating about the bush, here's my first Sherlock ficlet. I've read it and reread it a few times, please let me know if there are still typos, mistakes or anything that should be fixed. More a character study than anything, really. Also, I love teasing poor John.
