But! Today's zonenzombie's birthday! Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag! Here's a little present for you. My muse was being silly last night. :P


Happy birthday, baby

The girl was startled awake by the loud knocking on the door.

'What the hell?' She thought rubbing her eyes and threw back the sheets. The knocking didn't stop. "Yes, yes, I'm coming!" She yelled and walked to the door. When she opened it, she found herself facing a huge box wrapped in shiny black paper. She popped her head out and looked round, but there was no one in sight.

Puzzled, she dragged the heavy box inside and closed the door. There was no card on it and she had no idea of who could have sent it or what it might contain. After a moment's hesitation, she just shrugged and began unwrapping it.

It was a cake. The biggest cake she had ever seen, complete with fruit and whipped cream and "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate syrup. So big, in fact, that someone could easily fit inside...

And, just as the thought entered her mind, the top layer was lifted from the inside, revealing a man with tattooed arms and big green eyes. He was wearing a black leather collar, a few silver rings... and nothing else.

He looked at the speechless girl and grinned. "Happy birthday, baby."
