Argh! I can't stand these rumours about Perry and Roger leaving The Cure any longer! >_< They're playing a few festivals in Europe this summer, so all we have to do is wait and see who's on stage, right? No need to speculate.

*sigh* The truth is, I'm a hopeless fangirl and I really hope Perry isn't leaving. :( :( :(

I agree...it is *way* too easy to spread rumours online! for all I know, this could be Craig;s way of one-upping Robert after what Robert said on thecure.com about CoF.

now, Roger I can sort of see (because he has a lot of side projects)...but *Perry*? makes no sense to me...I mean, he's been a part of the Cure family for 20 years!

*sigh* I know it's quite normal for The Cure to change line-up and probably when Porl and Boris left, the reaction was pretty much the same. It's just that Perry was already a Cure member when I became a fan and I've always thought he would stay, you know. And from what I've heard/read, he seems to be such a nice bloke, it's a pity really. :( Still, it's not really official yet, so I can stay in denial for a bit longer.

I've already done your doodle! ^__^ But I don't have a scanner at the moment, so you'll have to wait until I get home. And have dinner. And maybe watch some TV too before I post it. :P

I have loved The Cure since 1983 (I am old!) and I admit that I was crushed when Porl and Boris left, they were and will always be my two all-time favourite Cure members (along with Simon of course).

as much as I like the latest line-up...it's never been the same for me. I *will* say that they did a great job at Curiosa, but it was weird for me to not see Porl and Boris.

so yes...I know exactly what you mean.

from what I have heard about Perry, he's a really sweet bloke. I am going to be in denial until I actually see who is onstage this summer for thr festivals!

I've been wanting to draw Izdreth for a long time, this is just a sketch but I hope you'll like it. Unfortunately, my scanner doesn't work at the moment, so I had to take a photo of the drawing and the quality isn't that great. Also, I'm arachnophobic, so this is the best I can do, since I can't look at spiders' bodies for visual reference, sorry. :P
