Challenge #2
In your own space, write a promo, manifesto or primer for your fave character, ship or fandom. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

WHAT: I've been in multiple fandoms and had various OTPs over the years, but I'm going to focus on what has been an endless source of inspiration for the last year and a half: Greg Sanders and Nick Stokes from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

WHY: This pairing grew on me over time: I couldn't really see it at first, but then I started reading some fics on AO3 and slowly became addicted. They seem very different: Nick is the more serious one, with more experience as a CSI, whereas Greg is the funny, slightly crazy one, who starts out as a lab tech and later on becomes a CSI himself. Yet, they work perfectly for me: they complete and balance each other out, and I see their relationship as the classic friends-to-lovers trope, something that develops slowly over time, with one (or both!) of them pining over the other without realising their feelings are reciprocated. During the course of the series they both grow and change, we find out bits and pieces from their past, and there's a lot of potential for angst, hurt/comfort, humour, fluff.
WHERE: There are currently reruns of CSI on TV where I live, and I think the last 5 seasons are available on Amazon Prime. Plus there are the usual not-exactly-legal ways to watch TV shows online. As for fanfiction, the Greg Sanders/Nick Stokes AO3 tag is a goldmine, especially the stories by Caroline Crane. The fandom is, sadly, extremely quiet (it's an old show after all), but I'm hopeful the return of Greg to CSI:Vegas this year will shake things up a little bit.
