gothikmausI woke up the other day with this idea. I wanted to post it on Christmas Day, but then I realised people might have better things to do than check AO3 on the 25th, so here it is. :)

Summary: You don't typically get a white Christmas when you live in Las Vegas. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.

"I love this song!" Greg exclaimed as the first notes of 'White Christmas' started playing. "It reminds me of when I was a kid." He switched on the coffee maker and began humming the melody.
"Do you actually get snow in San Gabriel?" Nick asked, leaning back against the kitchen counter and crossing his arms over his chest.
"Not really, but my papa and nana were always telling me about what Christmas was like back in Norway. They showed me pictures of snow-covered villages and frozen fjords that looked like something out of a fairytale, and I decided that was the Christmas I wanted to have. Of course I didn't take into account that Norway and California have two very different climates."
