So much of fandom action has moved to Tumblr, I rarely post fandom-related stuff on LJ/DW any more. Which is a pity, as Tumblr doesn't really have a comment feature that allows discussions without having to reblog everything over and over. Or maybe I'm just used to how LJ works and I'm too lazy to change my ways.

Anyway, now that things are a bit more stable in RL, I felt like writing, so I started working on that Lestrade/Molly fic that's been in the back of my head ever since I saw TSoT. Which is strange: I've been reading nothing but Mystrade for 2 months, I thought I'd be inspired to write that pairing. But apparently I'm terrified of Mycroft. XD Or rather, I'm afraid I'd get his voice completely wrong and screw up everything. Molly and Lestrade, on the other hand, are more ordinary and approachable. And who knows, maybe later I'll feel confident enough to try my hand at some Mystrade. For now, though, I have little more than 500 words of Sherlock being his usual self and Lestrade being frustrated and trying not to strangle him. I have no idea how long it's going to be or how long it'll take me to finish it, I'm just happy I'm writing again.

I keep my fingers crossed for your muse. I'd love to read your Lestrade/Molly fic but I'd also love to read your Mystrade. I love Mystrade and Mycroft especially. :)

I know what you mean. Tumblr isn't as nice as LJ or DW when it comes to fanfic or discussions. Sometimes I'd like to follow a post and its comments but it's so annoying because Tumblr doesn't really work this way. AO3 is now my fanfic place. I love how it works.

I read fanfiction on AO3 all the time too, I love the fact you can download the fics and read them on Kindle. But there are so many, I usually look for recs either on LJ or Tumblr or stick to authors I like.

I love the search, tag, and sort options on AO3. It's so much easier to find good stuff or everything an author wrote now. I don't download often but it's very comfortable to have the very long fics on my Kindle.

When I'm bored these day I just go to a tag that I like, sort by kudos or bookmarks, and waste the rest of the day with reading. XD
