How can it be the 31st of January? Where did the time go?

This month passed in a flurry of SherlockSherlockSherlock, it had been a while since I had been so into fandom. This last week I've been up until late every night reading Mycroft/Lestrade fics. Oops. But I found a few long, nicely written stories and I'm very much enjoying them.

Plus I may have kind of sort of developed a ridiculous crush on Mark Gatiss. Damn.

I loved Unlikely connections we make and I'm currently reading this series. It's in two parts, I finished the first part and I'm halfway through the second. The second part, Armistice, is a bit too graphic sometimes (never thought I'd say that, I must be getting old), but it's really well written and in character.

You can find a few recs here, but I haven't read all the stories, so I can't guarantee they're all good.

Did you watch his horror documentaries? I love him as Mycroft but I really fell in love with him because of his enthusiasm as a presenter. ♥

I started watching the documentaries but my internet connection started acting up for some reason, I bookmarked them and will watch them as soon as possible. Mark can be such an adorable, geeky fanboy. ♥

I downloaded them from youtube because I NEED them. I must have watched every part at least three times so far. XD

The documentary about MR James is very nice as well. Even though I've never read MR James. ;)

I haven't watched that documentary yet, I need to catch up on it. I really enjoyed his series on horror :D I can't believe it's been fifteen years since I saw him in League of Gentlemen - I watched it when it first aired in 1999 and thinking about that makes me feel terribly old.

That's a very nice one as well. I've never seen League of Gentlemen. Maybe I should find it somewhere and check it out. But I love him most as Mycroft or himself to be honest. ;)

Another rec, it's not Mycroft/Lestrade, it's actually Lestrade/Molly, but it's so, SO beautiful, I stayed up till 3 AM last night because I just HAD to finish it: An avalanche of detour signs.

Oh, yes, he is. Lestrade's reaction when Molly took off her coat at the Christmas party in A scandal in Belgravia was PRICELESS, but I didn't think much of it until The sign of three, when he walks into the morgue chirping "Molly!" (yes, he was definitely chirping). And he was so, so sad at the wedding and I just... Poor thing. I have this silly Lestrade/Molly ficlet in my head, but I can't find the right words as usual.

The wedding... That was really hard for him, made me sad. I was happy to hear later that Tom is gone. XD

Do it. There's not enough Lestrade/Molly fic, the world needs more. ;)
