I'm here! I'm alive! My connecting flight from London was delayed because apparently there were problems in Atlantic City yesterday and all flights to/from the US were delayed, but that doesn't matter. I made it in one piece.

My US adapter doesn't work, which means until I buy another one I shouldn't use my laptop too much. If I owe you a reply, a comment, anything, you'll have to wait a little bit, sorry!

Yay, you made it! I read about the Atlantic City airport problem, so I'm glad you got there okay.

Yes, I made it! It was the longest flight I've ever faced, luckily I napped a bit on the plane. But I fell asleep at 8:30 last night and then woke up a 2:20 AM. Time zones are fun.

And the adapter works, I was just using it in the wrong way: there are 3 round holes and three square holes, I put the laptop plug in the round holes (because European plugs have round prongs), instead I was supposed to use the square ones. D'oh.

I hate adapters. The world should just find an agreement and have the same stuff everywhere.

My flight was only 1 hour late, so I didn't have to wait too long. And I figured out how to use the adapter (the round prongs didn't go into the round holes, they go into the square ones. Obvious.)
