I'm not really impressed, to tell the truth. I think I need to listen to the songs a few more times.

Me neither. My review is 3.1/10. That's a fiasco (Thanks for the word, Farin.). I also got the Prawda today and read the interview with Farin and Rod and I disagree with everything they say about "auch".

I'm glad that you're not very happy with it, too. I might have lost my connection to the band over the years. I wasn't sure if it was just me. Rod's songs rescue it a bit but that's not enough.

I have been listening to them ALL DAY the past two days and I feel pretty much the same about it. At first all the Rod ones were my favorite but then some of the Farin ones stole my heart while I wasn't looking (in uncharacteristic Farin fashion). I cannot WAIT to see the videos for all of them, though! And man, I thought I was over needing to see them live, but I caught myself looking wistfully at totally impossible and sold out tour dates during class today ;_;

I definitely need to listen to the songs a few more times, I listened to them just once last night.

I've come to terms with the fact that I'm not going to see them live this year. Sure, at first I was quite annoyed and started thinking along the lines of "Maybe I can squeeze in a weekend show somewhere?" But then I gave up. Having something to look forward to (2 months in LA, f*** yeah) may have something to do with that... ;)
