Oh, man, why do I pick up accents so easily? So, yesterday I finally watched "Oyster Farmer". I spent the whole time thinking "Poor bugger" whenever Alex's character did something (I mean, really. The money? The dog?) And at the end I had his Aussie accent stuck in my head. *facepalm*

And this morning I got a call from the UK at the office, the girl calling spoke Italian but was either British or an Italian who's been living in Great Britain for a long time, because she had a bit of an accent. Well, by the end of the conversation I was talking like her too. *headdesk* I'm always afraid people will think I'm mocking them, but I'm not, I don't even realise I'm doing it until I stop and actually listen to what I'm saying. HAHA! You're not the first person I've read a post just like this after having watched 'Oyster Farmer'. Just focus on the mesmerizing sex scene and nothing else matters. ;p

Well, yes, that's a nice thing to focus on. :3 Even though I couldn't help thinking "Wow, that must've been uncomfortable, I wonder how many bruises that girl got on her back..."

A sacrifice I'd have been more than willing to make. Heck, get those bruises tattooed for posterity. ;D

I do that too :(

And I've seen OF so many times now, and yet I *still* laugh every time the dog goes in the water...

Glad to know I'm not alone in this.

I didn't know what to expect when I started watching Oyster Farmer (apart from a certain scene) and I have to say I really liked it. :)

I didn't know what to expect, either, but it turned out to be just the sort of quirky little 'glimpse of a different world' film that I love. And Alex's character is endearingly clueless :)

Oh, Jack. He did such stupid things (I laughed so much when he turned that fruit wrap thing into a mask and used a lobster to hit the security guard), but he was adorable. :3
