I'll just put this behind a cut because,um, spoilers?
So, I was one of the few people who didn't completely hate last week's episode, but this one was much, much better. Still too little Kono, but I hope the writers are going somewhere with her storyline.
Things that made me squeal, in no particular order:
- Max. I loved how he went "YES!" after Joe White told him to go along with him and when he practically started hyperventilating when they arrived at JPAC.
- Steve suspecting Joe's not telling him the truth. And being proved right. Poor Steve, Joe is such an important figure in his life, I'm really curious to see where this is going.
- Steve and Cath. I was tearing up a little when they said goodbye at the end. So many unsaid things between them, but neither of them being quite able to actually put them into words. ;_;
- DANNY! OMG the scene at the museum, Danny being all flirty and awkward and asdfghjkl. And checking the doctor's FB page to see what her relationship status was (really, Danny) and asking Lori for advice and going all "What is this, high school?" And he got a date! \o/ Also, Danny sure has a type, doesn't he? Doctor Gabrielle looks very much like Rachel.
- Favourite line: when Danny and Steve walk into the museum and look at the whale hanging from the ceiling.
Danny: "It's amazing. I mean, one day you are the king of the ocean, right? Next thing you know, you are hanging from the ceiling of a museum and little children are looking at your private parts."
Steve: "Yeah. Kinda put things into perspective."
In short: I love this show. ♥
