OMG it's Christmas and I haven't heard "Last Christmas" anywhere! Not even once! Not on the radio, not in shops, nowhere. Last year it was everywhere. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

I feel like posting something Christmassy, I hope schonste won't mind if I share the card I drew for her. ^_^



Girls are fun to draw, I should do it more often. I used to draw girls all the time once, but then I got into slash and now I mostly draw blokes. Which is good, because I never drew men before, but I should do a bit of both, I guess.

1. Your main fandom of the year: Sherlock Holmes, even if I only got into it in the second half of the year.

2. Your favorite Film this year: Maybe Inception?

3. Your favorite Book read this year: The Foundation Series by Asimov.

4. Your favorite Album or Song this year: Sadly, I didn't listen to much new music this year. I'll go with the only two albums I bought: "Undercover psycho" by Wayne Jackson and "Revolution of species" by Deluded by Lesbians.

5. Your favorite TV Show this year: Sherlock (the BBC mini-series).

6. Your favorite LJ Community this year: Either cox_and_co or sherlockbbc - the latter only for fanart, I read only a tiny fraction of the fanfic posted there, it's way too much.

7. Your best new Fandom Discovery of the Year? Sherlock Holmes, both the classic Granada series and the new BBC version.

8. Your biggest Fandom Disappointment of the Year? True Blood perhaps? I liked the show, but not as much as I thought I would.

9. Your TV Boyfriend of the year: That would probably be David Tennant. Or Benedict Cumberbatch (God, I love his voice).

10. Your TV Girlfriend of the year: I can't think of anyone right now. I only watched a few TV shows and they didn't really have decent female characters. =/ Maybe Annie from Life on Mars?

11. Your biggest Squee moment of the year? Talking to Bela B in German and giving him an illustration book, on which he commented "Cool, I may use one of these pics for a new tattoo." XD

12. Your most Missed Old Fandom? Die Ärzte. Come on, guys, do something new!

13. Your Fandom that you haven't Tried Yet, but want to? Doctor Who. I mean, I did start watching it, but I stopped just before the end of season 2. Oops.

12. Your Biggest Anticipations of the New Year? Some news on the DÄ front, the new Sherlock series.

I never got into Doctor Who :\ It's weird, because I should like it, but I've never really given it a chance. Been looking around for the DVDs cheap, so I might get some in January.

EDIT: I actually wanted to watch the Christmas special that's on tonight, but my mother is insisting on watching her shitty soap on the other channel and there's no other TV in this massive, sprawling house X(

I liked the first 2 seasons but then I just... stopped watching. For no reason. I guess I was too busy squeeing over Sherlock... ^_^'

I know! That's shocking! I heard Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas" quite a few times, but I somehow managed to avoid "Last Christmas".

I had a nice, calm Christmas with just my parents, we stopped celebrating with our relatives a few years ago and it was definitely for the best.

I know the feeling! It was just my gran and myself today (plus the buns) my dad came with my bro for 10 mins or so and then my mother popped over for a few mins and then that was it. Bliss!
