Aww, since tomorrow is my last day at the office, my colleagues got me a little goodbye present: a mini Berlinerisch dictionary and a poster with the aerial view of Berlin from 1984. :3
I felt so '70s today, with my ice blue turtleneck (bought in 1978 by my father, talk about second-hand clothes), brand new dark blue jeans and brand new brown corduroy blazer. Ah, yes, sales. <3
But I talked to my dad on the phone earlier and he said my last letter arrived without stamp AGAIN! That's the third time, for Heaven's sake! >:O
Whatever. First part of the picture meme!
curiousfunk's request: I'd like to see a picture of your combat boots, since they represent some of your taste as I'm sure you've had some great adventures wearing them, and I've never seen what they look like!
I have two pairs of combat boots, one purple (Doc Martens) and one black. The purple ones are my favourite, but they're starting to fall apart, so I left them at home. But I found a picture of them in my computer! Yay for being a pack rat!
Black combat boots.

I'll try to post the other pictures during the weekend, since I'll have to be outside to take them.

Oh yeah, I used to get a few letters returned to me 'cause the stamp had fallen off after I'd posted them :\ (despite the fact that the postal service could clearly see that the envelopes had been given postal marks meaning they had been accepted as suitable for sending). Do they have sticker stamps in Germany? They're quite new here; you can still buy the old ones you have to lick but the new pre-glued ones are much better and don't budge once they're on :)

Date: 2010-01-15 06:01 pm (UTC)I think there are sticker stamps in Germany as well, I mean, we have them in Italy, Germany must have them too. The ones I used were normal stamps and, even when I used glue, the stamp vanished. =/ Luckily the letters arrived anyway, I think once my parents had to go to the post office to pick it up, but they didn't have to pay a fee or anything. It's still annoying, though.
