ARGH, I'd forgotten just how frustratingly SLOW my home connection and computer are. D:
That said, I'm home, safe and sound. I was very lucky and only had a 50-minute delay; the flight to Rome had a 3 and 1/2 hour delay (I know someone who was supposed to leave for Rome the day before yesterday, her flight was cancelled and she rebooked for today, I hope she could leave).
I also heard of people at the train station in Milan waiting for hours for their train, it was unbelievable. So, all in all, yes, I was very lucky. :)
