Sooo, hostels in Hamburg and Leipzig: booked. The hostel in Hamburg is just down the street from the venue, a new A&O they opened in June. That's almost as good as the concert in Prague, when the hostel was right above the club. Now I just need to buy train tickets and then I'm all set. I think I may just try to get to Hamburg sharing a Schönes-Wochenende-Ticket. I won't be able to use the faster connections, but it'll be much cheaper. I'll just need to be at the station a bit earlier so I have time to ask around. The idea of people sharing a train ticket with strangers is still so weird to me, but as long as it works...

Aaand, a new Tourtagebuch video. They're taking their time putting those online...

I wonder if their tour manager put blue lights on the bus to prevent them from taking drugs... XD

EDIT: For the first time in my life, I have an Advent calendar with chocolate. :3

You can also try to find people to share a ticket with in advance here: http://www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de/
That way, you don't have to ask around at the station.:)

yeah, I got it. Sorry I forgot to answer. Do you want to line up at the entrance or maybe have a look around the city before the show? I don't really feel like lining up at the shows anymore;). It's just not worth it with these small halls.

Mmh, I'd like to get to the front, but it's cold outside, even more so if you just stand there doing nothing. I guess we could have a look at a Christmas market, drink some Glühwein to warm up and then go to the venue around 5PM? Or is that too early for you? ;)

Pfffffffffft I never get lost... I just don't always know where I am XD You're only lost if you know you're supposed to be somewhere and you don't know how to get there. I shall find the brightest star in the sky and navigate towards it...

Ah, OK. I was undecided between the Meininger and the A&O near the Hauptbahnhof at first, then I saw the new A&O on the Reeperbahn and thought "Well, that's just perfect!" :)

I had chocolate advent calendars a few times when I was little. This year I have a super fancy replica of San Marco (Venezia), which is pretty exciting! (No chocolate though). I think the best one I ever had was a Lego calendar with a little Lego thing to build every day. We still have that one somewhere. Really, I don't know why I've always had them though, it's not a very American thing.

And Schönes Wochenende tickets are amazing, I went between Berlin and Dresden for something like 5 or 7 euros once. :D
