Quote of the day: "What's the weather like in Milan at this time of the year? It must still be pretty warm, it's on the Mediterranean."
At that I just lifted my eyebrow and said "Well, not quite on the Mediterranean..." and got as reply "All right, near the Mediterranean."
Dear German colleagues, not every single place on the other side of the Alps has super nice and warm Mediterranean climate, you know... *shakes head*
Anyway, Bela's concert is getting closer and I'm getting more and more excited. My current plan is of going to the Dresden gig on Friday (OMFG the day after tomorrow), the first Hamburg show on the 6th December and the Berlin one on the 9th (last date of the tour). Those are the gigs I have tickets for, but I'm getting restless and starting to think I want to see more. I'll be sensible for once in my life, though, and just wait and see how things go in Dresden. Who knows, I might hate the show. Yeah, right. ;) I'm not going to Gießen on Saturday anyway, I want to visit Dresden and then I'll come back to Berlin on Saturday night, so I can rest a bit on Sunday.
If I feel I really need to see a couple more concerts, I can try and go to the second Hamburg gig and to Leipzig, that way I'd see the last 4 concerts of the tour in a row. I'd have to ask for 3 days off, though, and I don't like the idea, I'm already taking a couple hours off on Friday. I could work on the day of the Berlin concert and then go straight to the venue, since it's not too far from the office, that way I'd only need to ask for 2 days off. I know it's only a Praktikum and those are probably the only days off I'm going to take while I'm here (Christmas doesn't count, since pretty much everyone will be gone anyway), but I still feel bad about it.
For being Italian I'm really bloody Calvinist sometimes. :P
Anyway, who's going where for this tour? :)
PS Not being able to check LJ at work sucks. But apparently it's excellent for my "productivity", since I've already been told I'm "fleißig". :P
PPS My team leader is Sarah Kuttner's blond twin. She even has the same voice, for God's sake. o_O

Date: 2009-11-11 09:18 pm (UTC)And lol, everyone thinks that because this is Scotland, it snows really badly in the winter, yet in my living memory I could count on one hand the amount of times it's properly snowed here! It must be the same for you, when people think that it's always sunny and warm in Italy XD

Date: 2009-11-11 09:58 pm (UTC)Yeah, when I went back home at the end of October is was a bit warmer than here, but Milan's famous for its fog, so it's not your typical "Mediterranean city", you know... :P
And of course it snows in Scotland, you just don't see it because of the fog. XD

Date: 2009-11-11 10:05 pm (UTC)It's never foggy here either. The last time I remember it being foggy was about two years ago, and it was only for about an hour. Our weather is... Actually very good! People are shocked that we have palm trees XD
I imagine Milan to be quite cold in the winter. I'm not sure why, but that's how I see it.

Date: 2009-11-11 10:12 pm (UTC)Milan is cold and humid in winter and hot and sultry in summer. Yay? :P But in spring and autumn we usually have nice weather.
