Haha, yeah, in the US it's the same; there are always jokes about the elderly catching the Early Bird 4 PM Dinner Special at Denny's.

Well when do you crazy Italians eat dinner, after all? These days I eat dinner at 6 PM. XD

Sometimes I might eat at like 8 PM if I'm feeling dangerous.

It depends: around 7-8 PM in the North, around 9 PM in the South. And hey, Spanish are worse! They eat dinner at, like, 10 PM! :P

All right, if we want to be "philological correct" we have to admit we are Barbarians too, because originally the term "Barbarians" was used in reference to people who didn't speak Latin, and we don't speak Latin any more. ;)
