gothikmaus: (Die beste Band der Welt)

I wanted to write a nice long entry about what's going on, but I spent the last two hours listening to a webradio program hosted by a friend (theme of the night: post-punk and new wave) and chatting with E. who's currently in China (it's almost dawn over there, she was awake because she wanted to listen to the same radio-program. We were both mentioned by our friend, haha.)

Anyway, my German course is going well, one of the teachers I have in the morning actually told me to move on to the next level, so I'll be in the C2 class tomorrow! I'm a bit nervous, I'm not completely sure I can do it. Plus, my two teachers are really nice and so are my classmates, I'm sorry I have to leave them (Not to mention I was developing a sorta but not quite tiny little crush on someone in my class.) ANYWAY. I can go back if I think the new level is too difficult, I guess I'll just give it a try.

Yesterday morning I went to a demonstration in front of the Italian embassy, but there weren't so many people, maybe a hundred or so. I also saw part of "Die Riesen kommen", first near Potsdamer Platz, then on Unter den Linden, but it was so full of people, it was insane. Then I met [livejournal.com profile] urania_chan and found out she lives just around the corner! As usual, I wasn't very talkative, but I spoke German all the time, I'm quite proud of myself. We also went to the MTV concert just behind the Brandenburger Tor (the same location where the giant marionettes met, you can imagine what a big, crowded mess that was), but we went away after an hour or so, it was just too crowded.

What else? My school takes part in this "Dominoaktion" for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wall, you can see what we did in my travelblog: http://ausberlin.wordpress.com/2009/10/04/1989-2009/ The entry is in Italian, but there are some pics of what we painted.

And of course on Friday I bought "Code B"! Unlike "Bingo", which I could really appreciate only after the concerts, I liked most of the songs on "Code B" at once.

I'm probably forgetting something, but I'm quite tired now, I'll just go to sleep. Goodnight!

No, I'm just the one with the not-so-strong accent. ;)

Well done for being moved up a class and for holding entire conversations in German. Everytime I'm over I always freeze up in fear and sound like an idiot when I try and stumble along even though I know what I should be saying D:

I need to buy Code B when I get paid :D

Well, this is the first time I've spoken so much German. Even during breaks I mostly speak German to my classmates. We know we'll probably make mistakes but, hey, we're all there to learn and are all about the same level, so there's no stress. And I speak German with my Mitbewohnerin as well, it's easier with her because she wants to brush up her Italian and we'll have some "Italian evenings" when she's back from her holidays, so I think "Well, she's gonna make mistakes when she speaks Italian, so it's not a big deal if I make a few mistakes when I speak German..." :)

but I spoke German all the time Sauerei! Und ich muss die ganze Zeit Englisch sprechen, bei meiner nicht vorhandenen Sprachpraxis. Also wirklich. ;)

Well, so you're very busy. You don't want to tell some details about your crush? *raises eyebrow* :D

Every day, I love "code b" more. Our Bela made a masterpiece.

Farin: "MY Bela made a masterpiece."

PS: Streber! I told you how good your German is. You didn't want to listen. XD

HAHAHA OK, ich werde nächstes Mal auf Deutsch sprechen. Zufrieden? :P

I'd rather not talk about my sort of crush, today I found out he has a German girlfriend. Typisch. Oh well, who cares. Better to know it now before it's too late...

Streber? Ich? 0:)

In the end the difference between C1 and C2 isn't so big, I thought it would be worse. :)
