Do you think those are photos of an SS meeting from the '30s? You're wrong. Those are volunteers from the newly born association "Guardia Nazionale Italiana" (Italian National Guard), whose purpose is to improve national security by going around in groups and "controlling" the streets.

I am disgusted. But you know what's worse? (Yes, it gets worse.) People actually agree with them. I read an email in a local newspaper this morning that said "Well, there were groups like that during the Fascism and everyone was happy, weren't they?"

Yes, really fucking happy. I'm worried, very worried.

If people were to do something like that in Germany, I'm sure we'd have a lot of "NAZIS ARE BACK!" headlines. But if we do it, it's OK. Ironic, isn't it?

Yes, it is. Maybe they think, this new organisation is just a bunch of guys who like to wear uniforms and protect them and that they aren't nazis. We know better.

We should know better too! Fuck, we were under the Fascist dictatorship for 20 years! With the right-wing parties in government, it feels like everything is coming back.
