gothikmaus: (Na gut)

I was fed up with black and grey, so, new layout. And my new default icon fits my current mood perfectly. A few days ago, after much thinking over, I decided that, if I want to work in the events/music field, I'll have to try everything, even things that are utterly hopeless. So I sent my CV to KKT. Yes, the agency that manages the tour of Die Ärzte. Hey, I sent my CV to the biggest agencies in Milan, why not to KKT?

Of course five minutes ago I got an email telling me that for this year they are "bereits voll besetzt".

I am not surprised in the least. Na gut...

Other than that, my first day back to work hasn't been too bad so far, there's still little to do and tomorrow's a holiday. Bah.

Send it again and tell them you are available next year.

A very nice layout. I like the Farin and his plant picture. It's perfect with the colours. I should make an own one too. But I'm too lazy to find out how. ;)

Send it again next year? Hopefully I'll be able to make experience somewhere else in the meantine, because otherwise no one would ever want me. I mean, yeah, I worked for Italy's most important theatre, but only for 4 months. And it was A YEAR ago. My God, where did the time go? I can't believe I wasn't able to find anything in a year. D: If only the people who offered me that 6-months job for a music festival back in April had been more organised, they wanted me to begin at once! And I have a 30-day notice! ARGH! >_< Had I known that was my ONLY chance, I would have resigned, paid the fee (ugh, more than 1000 euros) and accepted. With insight everyone's smarter.

I was in the mood for a white layout. It's not too difficult if you know HTML and CSS. At least my job is somewhat useful: I'm used to reading weird codes and today I had a lot of spare time to try different colour combinations. :P

A crystal ball would be helpful sometimes. I remember so many decisions I made which I regret today.

It's not too difficult if you know HTML and CSS.
Well, I know a little bit, but it's very little. I can customise an already existing code, it would last too long to write a completely new one. After I quit my last job, I tried hard to forget every unloved skill. ;)

I guess I was too scared at the time. It was just for 6 months and they would pay me much less than my current job, but I would have done it if I had had a bit more time to organise things. Instead it was all of a sudden and I only had 2 days to decide. =/

Yeah, well, I took LJ's existing code and changed it, I'm too lazy to make it all from scratch. :P

And I tried to forget everything too when I went back to uni for a year, but then I had to go back to work and had to remember it all. =/ Anyway, HTML has nothing to do with my job, I learned it on my own to make my site. ;)

So you can't watch Gonger? People are already commenting Bela's bad acting on the DÄOF Forum. XD Poor Bela. *pets*

Bela: *sobs* "They're so mean!" D:
Farin: "Aww, come here, I'll cheer you up."

Hm, the reviews were very good. I have to see it. Bela often was a bad actor, but the trailer seemed that he bettered. It would work to see it now, because some of the snow fell down, but I missed the beginning. Na, I wait for a recording. ;)

LJ's existing code
Where can I find that? XD *lazy*

Instead it was all of a sudden and I only had 2 days to decide.
I'm a coward too. I don't think I decided in a different way. I'm too "safety first". That's why my first study was economics. It just seemed more reasonable. Now, I'm old and willing to take a risk. XD

Well, the code varies according to your style, I use Flexible Squares, Style 2. First I decided the colour combination in the "Customize Journal" Page ( http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml ), then I went to my LJ, right-clicked and chose "View source". There I copied the URL of the CSS file LJ had created, in your case it will be something like http://flaschengeist.livejournal.com/res/xxxxx/stylesheet?xxxxx, opened it in a new page and copied what I needed in the "Custom CSS" part of the "Customize Journal" Page.

For instance, I didn't want an outer border, so I just added "border-width: 0px;" in the "#content" part. It sounds quite complicated, but once you get it, it's actually quite easy. I had to try a few times before I found the right things, but, as I said, I had some time to spare today. ;)

Ooookkkkk, das sollte zu schaffen sein. :)

"border-width: 0px;" in the "#content"
That's the little I know, because of myspace. :D

Thank you very much for the advice. I'll try it. :)
