9:15 AM: I turn on my laptop, all happy because there's very little to do at work these days and I have all the time I need to write more fic, and check my email. 23 unread LJ comments. What the fuck, people!? XD

Anyway, a few months back I heard a quote from a book ("La fine è il mio inizio", by Tiziano Terzani), it was about discovering cities not through tourist guides, but reading old books in which the story takes place there, and for some reason that reminded of Farin. I wanted to find the quote and send it to him once he starts getting emails again (probably in a couple of days, when DÄ go on tour for the festival shows), but I can't find it anywhere! And it's too late to actually read the book and find those lines on my own, it's almost 500 pages long, I'm far too lazy to do it before I leave on Sunday. Me and my damn procrastinating. Oh well, I'll just read it when I'm back from Prag, find the quote I need and send it to him next autumn, he'll surely be receiving emails during his solo tour.

Yes, it was extremely "aww" inducing. &heart; He even got the accents right! >_< Well, he only forgot one, anyway. Totally adorable.

He's a terrible poser with his skills. But i'm not able to be angry with him. :)))
I asked him once about the book on his "Buch-des-Monats-pictures", cause i got a suspicion what it might be. The answer was also with a comment about the author's work. A lovely poser... XD

It's Arno Schmidt's "Zettels Traum". I read his book "Kaff auch Mare Crisium" in those days for a seminar and learned about the author's faible for unsual artwork. Zettels Traum costs almost 200€. I'll never read it, i even never ended "Kaff". ;)
