Fucking job. Fucking fucking fucking job. Everyone keeps asking me why I want to change, they tell my I'm brilliant and could make so much money and it would be a waste if I threw away these 3-4 years of experience as SAP consultant, I must be mad.

Well, I feel I'm wasting my time RIGHT NOW, doing something I really don't want to do, but it's pretty much the only fucking thing I can do. I know I'm good. I'll probably sound conceited, but it's true: when other people in this office have problems, they turn to me and I'm usually able to help them. I'm in charge of this project. And they're not even paying me more because of that, bastards.

It's just that, when I think of my future, I shudder at the thought I'll still be doing this stuff in 5 or 10 years time. I just want a little bit of happiness, I don't think that's too much to ask for...

EDIT: Maybe it won't rain in Berlin tomorrow. Not too much anyway. Well, some good news at least.

Clichees aside, I'm so sorry about your job frustration. Europe has a completely different job culture than the US; back home, it's normal for people to completely switch careers and study something completely new, whereas here it appears to be frowned upon. I think that's really a shame. :(

I know I have to be patient, but I just wish people would stop treating me like I lost my mind. Is it so strange that I don't like my job? Just because it pays quite well, it doesn't mean I have to like it. I mean, of course money is important, but if I have to feel like this, maybe it's not really worth it. *sigh*
