The best meme EVAH!
May. 7th, 2008 09:37 am![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
First the "Draw yourself as a teen" meme everyone's doing. I had so much fun drawing this, I also added an "intermediate phase" for your viewing pleasure.

Notice how the annoyed expression never changes... ^_^
And then a meme nicked from
schwimmerin:
Comment and I will
1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something – fandom, a song, a colour, a photo, etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.
7. In return, you must post this in your LJ.

Date: 2008-05-09 01:22 pm (UTC)1. It was probably something Ärzte-related, I remember reading some of your non friends-locked entries about you being in Germany in summer 2005 and thinking you sounded cool and interesting. And I must've seen you on the belafarinrod community as well...
2. Farin and Die Ärzte, of course; Ugly Betty; The Ark; the whole "Am Ende der Sonne" album; the arctic hare picture ♥♥♥. I associate you with blue and yellow, because I think you're a very sunny person.
3. You're very determined and enthusiastic about things you like and I admire you because you speak so many languages. And you're very friendly and nice.
4. Walking around Milan trying to be a decent tourist guide for you and your mum (and your mum being totally impressed by the castle ^_^) and having that hot chocolate together. And the plush tiger keychain you gave me. Have I ever told you I called it Richy? :D
5. You spent a few months in Germany when you were still in school, right? Did you go to school there? Did you already speak German back then? Was it a positive experience?
6. I'm undecided between the BFR "die besten" one and the "heartbreak" Betty/Harry one. Why yes, I am a romantic at heart...

Date: 2008-05-09 02:15 pm (UTC)At first it was really hard for me because everything was so strange and I had always lived in the same house until that point in my life, and I missed my friends at home and so on. But in the end, it was not only a positive experience but I think life-altering as well. Without it, I wouldn't be here. I don't think I ever would have had the same kind of interest in Germany, the language and culture. Or gotten into learning more languages (at least, not at first). I'd probably have more trouble with new beginnings in far away places; as it is, I transition really well among different situations. So I have to thank my parents for their crazy idea of dragging me along to live in Germany at that formative age ^_^
Oh and: And I'm part Swedish! XD
Also, there is so much love for my heartbreak icon, whee!

And your heartbreak icon is... heartbreaking. :)
