Laziness, meme and tweets
Aug. 9th, 2014 09:24 pmI really should update more often, but I rarely get online in the evening after work. Even if I arrive home early and have nothing to do after dinner, I just don't feel like sitting at the computer, so I just briefly check Twitter and my email on my mobile. Which is the reason why I still haven't finished that Lestrade/Molly fic I'm writing. There's just two scenes left, but I never seem to be in the mood to actually write. Oh, well.
Here, have a meme I posted on Tumblr earlier today.
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don't take but a few minutes, and don't think too hard — they don't have to be the "right" or "great" works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I'll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you've tagged them!
"1984", George Orwell
"Animal Farm", George Orwell
"Good Omens", Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
"The secret diary of Adrian Mole, aged 13 3/4", Sue Townsend
"All quiet on the Western Front", Erich Maria Remarque
"The Foundation Series", Isaac Asimov
"Harry Potter", JK Rowling (the whole series)
"La fine è il mio inizio", Tiziano Terzani
"Un indovino mi disse", Tiziano Terzani
"Piccolo viaggio nell'anima tedesca", Francesca Predazzi + Vanna Vannuccini
Also, these two tweets from a few days ago cracked me up. I bloody adore this man. ♥
