Changes. And drabbles (finally!)
Jan. 20th, 2007 04:43 pmOh boy, I don't get online for 4 days and the whole world changes without me noticing. All right, not the whole world, but Markus Karg leaving the Ärzte fanclub was a bit shocking. I wanted to send him an email, but kept pulling it off and decided I would send it today and then this morning I find out he's gone. WTF? I wrote to him anyway, I had a couple of things to ask him. Some people at the BademeisterBoard are glad he's away, but I'm actually a bit sad. I mean, I didn't know him at all, I only talked to him twice, but he was always very nice. I hope they'll find someone to replace him soon.
It looks like 2007 is the year of changes: first Bela's drums roadie, then Markus. And not just that: a girl working in my office had a sudden job offer and resigned last week, I was really surprised when she told me. And let's not forget I'm resigning too and going back to university. At the moment I signed an agreement that allows me to take a 3-month break, meaning I won't be working for 3 months starting from mid-February and then I can decide whether I want to go back or resign. All these sudden changes are making me kinda nervous. I know they have nothing to do with my life, but it's a strange coincidence.
And apropos WTF: there were 24°C (around 80° Fahrenheit) on the hills outside Turin yesterday. o_O It's January! It's supposed to be cold! I like warm and sunny weather, but man. In Northern Europe there was a typhoon with winds blowing at 180 KM/h and here it's like spring. Quoting Mr Farin Urlaub (or was it Bela?): "Klimakatastrofe, I love you."
And finally, the drabbles I wrote last week. I wanted to post them earlier but forgot the files at home. I'm an idiot :P
