Checking flights to Berlin. The 2nd June is a holiday in Italy and all flights in that weekend are awfully expensive. To get a somewhat cheap flight I'll have to leave on the evening of the 29th May and arrive in Berlin around 10PM or 11:30PM depending on the company (AirBerlin or EasyJet) and return with the morning flight on the 2nd June, which leaves at 6:15 or 6:35. I'm gonna die. Going to bed would be useless, I'll just find a club or pub or whatever after the concert, spend a couple of hours there, then take the nightbus to the airport, check in and collapse.
I also have to start looking for hostels. I could stay at my friends' place I guess, but I don't want to take advantage of their hospitality if I can't spend some time with them. And I'll barely see them, I'll spend most of my time lining up at the Wuhlheide in order to get a decent place. I'd like to get to the front at least once out of three gigs... -__-
Things would be so much easier if I wasn't looking for a new job. I would've bought plane tickets 4 months ago and paid much less, I could come back on the 3rd of June and have more time to spend with my friends. And if I don't buy them by the end of the month prices will get even higher. Sigh. I'll probably wait another couple of weeks and then just go ahead and buy them. I seriously doubt I'll find a new job before May (I've received the grand number of ONE reply so far and that only said "Thank you for your email, we'll let you know. Kthxbai."), but if I do I'll just tell them I need a day off for the 30th May.
When my friend is done fixing the German version of my CV, I'm so sending it to every single language school in Berlin. I've always said I'd like to work abroad, at least for a certain period of time. Well, now it's time to finally move my arse, damnit.
