Buon Natale! :D
Dec. 25th, 2007 08:24 pmMerry Christmas! How did your day go? My mother stuffed me with delicious food as usual, I got the most comfortable computer chair ever and generally had a nice time.
And since you've been good this year, here's some Christmas art for you. Jenny, I hope you won't mind if I post yours too, even if you still haven't received your card. Don't look if you don't want to spoil your surprise. :P
Farin Christmas card for Jenny

Bela Christmas card for Nicole

Farin/Rod Christmas card for Eryka

And the usual end of year memes.
January: I started the year in Turin, spending boring nights all alone in my hotel room, doing a job that caused me panic attacks and counting off the days till the start of my master's course. The only good things were the few free concerts I saw while I was there and the good memories of Ärzte Statt Böller and the secret concert in Berlin. And meeting Jenny (
schwimmerin) in Milan! :D My website got deleted. I got a MySpace account.
February: I quit my job and went back to university, started a Japanese course, got my own web domain.
March: Started thinking of seeing Die Ärzte and Bela live in the summer, drew webcomics, took the first uni exam.
April: I got a graphic tablet for my birthday, spent a couple of weeks in Abruzzo, visited Rome, bought tickets for Bela's gigs.
May: Joined the DÄ fanclub, started planning my summer holidays.
June: Went to Rock im Park with a couple of friends, bought tickets for the DÄ tour even if I didn't know if I'd be able to go to the concerts I'd chosen, had the family home all to myself for the whole month while my parents were on holiday in the USA.
July: Got some cool presents from the USA from my parents, saw Franco Battiato live in Turin, watched the fifth Harry Potter film and read the last book (with lots of WTF moments), got pissed off about not doing the internship I wanted to, got very worried about my cat's health.
August: Went to Berlin, GOT TO BE BELA'S TRAUMFRAU IN POTSDAM, drove all over Germany to see his gigs, went to Austria and Switzerland to see die ärzte, visited Hamburg.
September: Went to one more Bela show, started my internship at the theatre.
October: Bought the tickets for the Cure concert next year (46 bloody euros), got worried about my debit card info being possibly stolen, bought a bass pedal, got really excited about die ärzte being everywhere to promote their new CD, finally finished a Richy Guitar fic I'd been working on for more than a year, went to a Halloween party dressed up as Frank-n-Furter with a friend dressed as Magenta.
November: Got VERY excited about "Jazz ist anders", sent a couple of drawings to Farin (who liked them), saw die ärzte live in Leipzig and Bremen with Almut and Sammy, opened an Italian blog, went to a volleyball match, worked a lot.
December: Found an adorable new cartoon (School for vampires), went to one more DÄ concert in Mannheim, finally saw "Over the rainbow" and "The trash trilogy", sent a cartoon to Danny Young and got a reply, panicked as my bass decided to die on me the night before a semi-public performance, got relieved as our singer was able to fix it.
