Bela/Farin ficlet

God, these mood swings are killing me. One day it's all doom and gloom and the next one I'm a happy bunny. Thank God it doesn't happen often, but when it does it's bloody annoying.
But that's not so interesting. Have a ficlet instead. Apparently Bela and Farin made a blood brotherhood pact sometime and Almut said she'd like to read a fic on the subject. And since I'm here to please, I wrote this ficlet. Enjoy.
Title: Blood brothers

"I'm not so sure about this, Dirk." Jan said as they walked up the side of the hill.
"I told you to call me Bela."
"Whatever. I don't think this is such a good idea."
"You don't need to be afraid. It's just a little cut, I promise it won't hurt too much."
"It's not that. It's just..." Jan glanced nervously around. "Teufelsberg at night looks so..."
"Spooky?" Bela grinned. "It's the devil's mountain after all, that's why we always come here to do this stuff." He spread the blanket on the ground and knelt down. After a quick check to make sure they were alone, he took the knife out of his pocket and removed the piece of cloth that was wrapped around the blade. Jan didn't dare ask him how often he had already gone there. Or what exactly he meant with "this stuff". He knew Dirk had some weird hobbies and weird friends.
"So, do you want to do this or not? Have you changed your mind?"
"No. No, I haven't."
Jan sat down Indian-style in front of him and gave him his hand with the palm upward. He bit his lip as the blade cut across the skin, deep enough to draw blood. Bela did the same to his own palm and dropped the knife. He grabbed Jan's hand and squeezed their bleeding palms together.
"Brothers," he said looking Jan in the eye.
Jan nodded. "Brothers."
They sat there in silence for a while, until Jan started getting uncomfortable. "Can I have my hand back now, please?"
Bela grinned again. "No."
His grip grew tighter and he leaned forward. Jan burst out laughing as he was suddenly kissed full on the mouth.
"Hey! That's not very brotherly."
"No," Bela replied. He pushed Jan back on the blanket and lay down on top of him. "It's much better."
I need to update my website. Too bad I'm going to work during the weekend and tomorrow I'll be out from 8:00 AM till godknowswhen PM. And I'm not even getting paid for it. I only hope all this will bring me something in the long run. =/
