What the hell??? Why did LJ changed my layout??? *curses*
Damn. It's a warm and sunny Sunday and I'm sick. I don't know what happened, I woke up this morning with my head spinning and a vague sense of nausea, it took me forever to get out of bed. I didn't drink alcohol last night, so it can't be a hangover, but the friends I met yesterday had got a stomach virus last week, maybe I caught something from them. Or maybe it was those 2 drags of pot I took? Strange, I've never had such a reaction before.
Anyway. I randomly remembered something about Frequency the other day: before playing a song Farin asked Rod what the key was and Rod said "E". Farin went "No way, it was C" and Rod replied "No, E." So Farin made a "C" gesture with his hand, using thumb and index finger, and Rod made an "E", that is, he made a "C" with one hand and used the index finger of his other hand to add the line in the middle and form an "E". All this without speaking in the mic, so only the people in the front could see it. It was the cutest scene ever. ^_^ I'll have to add it to my concert report.
I so hope I can see them live this autumn. There shouldn't be problems for the concert in Mannheim on the 15th December, it's on a Saturday and there's a night train from Milan. I don't know about the other concerts, I have a ticket for Leipzig and Bremen on the 29th and 30th November, on a Thursday and Friday. As far as I could see there shouldn't be problems if I take 2 days off, but I won't ask about it now, I started my internship this week, I don't want to give a bad impression.
Yes, I finally started working. The professor who was supposed to tell me something about Leipzig sort of vanished, so another professor asked me if I wanted to do my internship in the marketing office of Piccolo Teatro, which is the most important theatre in Milan, and I accepted at once. It's not exactly what I wanted to do, but it seems interesting so far, I even took part in a meeting with the head of the marketing section, and it's going to look good in my CV.
Also, RIP Marcel Marceau.

Adieu.

Date: 2007-09-23 02:16 pm (UTC)Was it a C or an E? :P
Wow, an internship in a theatre, sounds nice! How does the internship work with the university actually?

Date: 2007-09-23 02:28 pm (UTC)Yes, the internship is interesting so far! I'm doing a master course, that is, a post-university course, and my internship has to be at least 375 hours, about 2 and 1/2 months. Mine will end on the 31st December, so it's going to be a little more than 3 months long. I think that with new degree courses, internships are compulsory, but I'm not sure, my degree was one of the old ones, so I didn't have to do an internship.
How are you, anyway? :) I'll probably get offline now, btu I'll be back later. *hugs*

Date: 2007-09-23 07:00 pm (UTC)I'm quite fine actually, thanks for asking :) I changed of school - yes, once more - for personal issues, and it's allright so far. I'm studying to get the equivalent of the HNC in secretarial studies, combined with English and German. I don't think I'm going to become a secretary, and I'll very probably pursue my studies later on to become a translator as I wanted ;) But these studies will help me to get some professional experience, and I'll have a diploma within two years that'll allow me to do whatever I want. So... :)
What about you? :) Tell me everything that I don't know yet ;) *hugs back*

Date: 2007-09-24 07:24 pm (UTC)Other than that there aren't big news, you can read all about my summer in my LJ. I'm still playing with my band, we've finally found a new name and are looking for places to play live. I'm a bit worried about that, I'm sure I'll get nervous as hell and mess up all my lines... =/
