I've wanted to draw this cartoon ever since Bela's concert in Mannheim:

I'm going to buy the train ticket for Munich today. I still don't know if I can get tickets for the festival, but there's a very cheap Sparangebot, 29€ for Milan-Munich and 32,50€ for Munich-Milan, but I have to buy it a week before leaving. I hope everything goes well and we find a way to get tickets, otherwise... Well, I'll just spend a weekend in Munich. And then the holidays will really be over. Does the Oktoberfest begin next week, by the way?

And now let me brag about this. Do you see this picture from Gampel Festival?



Question: Who's Farin grinning at?

Answer: Why, at ME of course!

He was right in front of me during "1/2 Lovesong" and I was trying to take a picture of him, but he kept stepping aside (notice the distance between him and the microphone) and then he just grinned at me. I grinned back and gave him the thump up. I'm so cool.

PS Yes, I will upload my pictures from Frequency and Gampel. Eventually.

I'll try to turn it into an icon later. "Priceless" is "unbezahlbar" in the German version of the advert, isn't it?
