I got the tickets for Potsdam and Taubertal today! YAY! :D
I'm still trying to decide what to do, maybe it's better if I fly to Hamburg, stay there a couple of days and then go to Berlin; or I could go to Hamburg after the last concert and fly back home from there. Berlin-Hamburg by bus costs 25 euros, which is much cheaper than using the train. I checked the prices for the Gampel-Milan train too, I thought they would be more expensive, but they're only about 30 euros. I wouldn't know where to spend the night after the gig though, so I'll probably just go back to Berlin.
Almut, we're going to Gampel together, right? I'll buy your spare ticket for the festival if you still have it.
Other than that I don't have anything interesting to say, I went out almost every night in the last week and I'm dead tired now. Yesterday was the last lesson of the Japanese for beginners course, the intermediate course starts in 2 weeks. I even got a shiny little certificate with my name in Japanese on it. ^_^ Also, Bela singing in Japanese? Weird.
Oh yes, I've started using what I've learned in the master so far. For those of you who don't know: our singer left the band after a fight over a trivial thing and our guitarist found out by chance he's trying to form a new Faith No More cover-band keeping the same name. And he's looking for female musicians, who does he think he is? Farin Urlaub? I thought nothing of it until our guitarist said "He's such an asshole, it wouldn't surprise me if he used our song in his new band." I don't think he'll be able to use the music, but he could use the lyrics because, well, he used to sing them. So, in order to prevent that, I went to the post today and sent them to myself by registered mail. It's a bit silly sending yourself a registered letter (the guy at the post office looked at me funny), but the lawyer who explained us the laws on copyright said it's a legally recognised method, that way I can prove the lyrics are mine and I can decide who is allowed to use them. I won't get any money out of them because I didn't register them at the SIAE (Italian Authors and Publishers Society, like GEMA in Germany), but if he ever sings that song and claims it's his, he's gonna be in trouble. MWHAHAHA.
