Job whining + fanfiction musing

Only a month left, then I'll quit this job. Officially I'll have to work here till the 9th February, but the project has to be finished by the end of January, so maybe I can go back to Milan then. This is probably the worst project I've ever worked on, not just because I'm staying in a hotel in the middle of nowhere all by myself, I've got used to that by now; it's more because I'm supposed to do things I've never done and have no idea how to do them, I spend hours looking for ways to solve problems and barely get anything done, it's really frustrating. And I have to stay at the office well after 7PM, even if I'm supposed to work till 6PM, without being paid for the extra time. *sigh*

I've come to the point where I wish I was ill so I could go home. Or they could just send me away because I'm incompetent, I wouldn't mind one bit. Which is stupid and childish, I know there are people who don't have a job or have one that is much worse than mine, but I really can't take it anymore. I'm going to quit even if I'm not accepted at the masters, I need to change. We'll see how things go at the interview next Friday. *fingers crossed*

One of the few things that have kept me sane since I came back from Germany was fanfiction. People have been posting quite a lot at deine_schuld lately and I'm just so glad about it, reading fanfiction has always been a great way to forget real life problems, at least for a little while. I wrote a drabble and added some paragraphs to a couple of old unfinished fanfics as well, but I'm just not in the mood for posting anything. I got an idea for a drawing too, but I don't have pencils or decent pens and paper, I'll see if I'm still inspired when I go home for the weekend.

1. Not really, but I'm working on it. I can make pasta and cook fish and chicken, and I can follow recipe directions pretty well, but that's about it.
2. Press the emergency button a lot. Depending on who I was stuck with ;)

23. Yes, I can tap dance and I used to do jazz and ballet. I'd say I'm a pretty good dancer. I also used to take voice lessons, and while my voice isn't the best anymore, I think I'm not a terrible singer.

1. Can you cook?
Probably. I've made food before, but I am bad at preparing stuff that requires, well, a lot of preparation, i.e. an entire bird. I make some hella good sloppy joes though.

2. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator?
For how long? As long as I had my mp3 player and/or my nintendo DS I'd be able to entertain myself for a while until someone saved me. God knows I wouldn't be able to get out on my own with my little weakling arms.

3. What talent do you wish you had?
I wish I could fly! That's a kind of talent, right? ...Mutant...talent... XD

Zen meditation gardens. Or, Goblin Valley, Utah.

Artichokes! FOREVER.

sorry to hear it's going so bad... must be real' cruel to come back from a holiday to do that crap! so I'll entertain you briefly with the meme! seems like the least I can do :D

Somewhat. But I'm very little creative when it comes to food.

I've been twice. And those times I just waiting for help. Boring answer, I know :)

I could play an instrument really well. The piano, preferably.

Uhm. Don't know. Somewhere outside Denmark, traveling.

Neither, but I've had a labret piercing for a short time.

Taking naps that break my sleeping habits. But naps are soooo nice!

Uhm, Italians are usually very loud and noisy (my experience), but you weren't. So a easy going laid back person, I suppose.

Riding the train from Köln to Frankfurt :D

I don't cry, I'm sorry. Nothing personal. I didn't cry when my grandfather died. It bothers me somehow :/
