Oh my, thank God I came to work today! I was supposed to go donate blood this morning, even though I got a tattoo a couple of weeks ago and they usually make you wait a few months before you can donate again, but then this morning I got a call saying my donation was put off. So I came to work and found out there's some syntax error in a program someone modified last Friday afternoon, so people who tried to use it were basically kicked in the arse and couldn't do anything. Luckily I had already worked on that program and didn't take much to find a solution, so now everything's fixed. But if I hadn't come to work I don't know what would have happened, all the other programmers are on holiday.
I went shopping last Saturday and bought some reeeally pretty things. A black kimono-like shirt, a denim miniskirt (man, I've wanted one like that for aaages), a grey vest, on which I'm going to print my Cowboy!Bela drawing and... a grey leopard print zipped hoodie! XD

I'm probably going to wear that on one of Bela's gig, I only need to have the picture printed on the vest.
I also found a wonderful blouse, very neo romantic, black (of course :P), with long puffed sleeves, a square neckline and a ribbon just under the breast, sort of empire style. But they only had one M size and it was ripped! *cries* I tried an L size but it was really too big, I was so sad. But they have another shop in Milan, maybe I'll have a look there another day.
I've also experimented a bit with my digital camera, I always use the same options and thought it was time to play with it some more.

Experimenting with black and white

Again

Experimenting with colours

Trying to capture the blue of the sky
I also found a Good Omens ficlet I started months ago and then abandoned, maybe I'll be able to make something out of it. I already have other drabbles and fics to finish, but this week I'll have very little to do at work, I could use the free time in a productive and artistic way. If my muse wants to collaborate, that is.
And the live version of Dein Vampyr from 2001/2002 is the most wonderful thing ever. They play a bit of "A forest" in it! :D ♥♥♥♥♥

Date: 2006-08-07 11:04 am (UTC)Well, it's not a poster, just a magazine clipping a friend from Berlin gave me.
I laughed so much when he gave it to me, because there was another friend of ours, he looked at it, pointed at Bela and said "Who's that girl?" And I was like "What girl? That's a MAN!" XD

Date: 2006-08-07 12:30 pm (UTC)I'm really having fun with my camera, yesterday I spent almost an hour taking pictures of the same things changing the colour/light options, I'm such a nerd.
And thanks for telling me that's a hibiscus. I was trying to remember what it was called, my mum must have told me a million times, but every time I have to ask her "Err... What's the name of that flower again?" :P
