Bass love and tattoos

Fixed the credit card problem, my Bingo CD is on its way. *relieved*

I'm thinking of doing a German course when I'm going to Berlin in September. I'm going on my own and I'm not exactly the most socialising person on the planet, perhaps that will help me getting to know someone while I'm there. And my mother won't worry too much, I don't want her to call me every day asking me "How are you? Are you still alive? Do you need anything?" Sheesh, I'm not 13, for God's sake. Even if I act like a 13-year-old sometimes. :P

Also, I've been playing so much lately that after getting calluses on my fingertips I also got a nice little blister, which proptly broke while we were rehearsing last night. OW. I'm still the worst in our so-called band, all the others have much more experience than me, but I'm getting better.

And because I love my bass...




I was trying to take "artistic pictures" but failed miserably. And I really should clean it, poor thing, it's so dusty, look what happened when I took a picture using flash. And no, that's not dandruff. :P



Ooh, shiny. :P It's not one of those super cool and expensive basses, but I love it anyway. *cuddles* Plus, my bass teacher used to say it has a very nice sound and our drummer said "WOW, great bass you have there" the first time he saw it. And since they both have much more experience in musical things than me, I trust their judgement. :P


Also, last Saturday one of my cousins (yes, I have a LOT of cousins) got a tattoo (the third) and, since I had told him I was thinking of getting one too, he asked me if I wanted to go with him. I went and showed the tattoo artist the design I'd like to get:





I'd like to get it on the back of my neck, well, more like at the top of my back, you get the idea. Now I just need to make up my mind. God, I'm such a wuss. =/

Yeah, I know! *ashamed* I'll clean it when I get home tonight. It doesn't really look SO dusty, but when I took that pic all the dust lying there decided to show itself. XD

It sort of looks like glitter though, doesn't it? :P

YES FOR TATTOOS! Think carefully about it, the design and position. Don't be like a few people I know and rush out and get the wrong thing in the wrong place >:[

I'm not going to rush, I've been thinking of it for a few months and want to be completely sure before I go and get it. I'm sure about the design, I just need to decide if I really want it on my back or somewhere else. But it'll probably be there.

When I was in Berlin (for Dä+Village people) I had to call my mother every fuckin day! And it were only three days...

Yes, mothers are usually quite anxious, but come on, I'm an adult, I can take care of myself. *sigh*
