AAARGH this thing is hypnotising! NIPNOTISING! The whole office is going craaazy! XD
Gah, I'm so tired, thank God it's Friday and the system will be available only till 5 pm, so I'll leave early. I'm so fed up of working on this damn brand migration, I don't want to see an invoice document ever again. >_<
For the Ärzte fans on my flist: I found an audio file of a radio interview Bela gave a few days ago, I haven't listened to it yet (NO TIIIME), but here's the link for those who may be interested.

Changing the subject completely, perhaps S and E finally, finally, got together. We've been cheering for years, hoping their friendship would develop into something more, because they're just made for each other. Last night I went out with some friends, S and E weren't there but Demi told me that last time she had seen them, a couple of days ago, they seemed to be much more intimate than usual. I'm going out tonight and they will be there too, we'll try to understand what's going on. My my, we're worse than a group of gossipy old ladies. :P
And if that is true, it means that now every single one of my friends has a partner. Everyone but me, of course. *sigh* Oh well, nothing I can do about it, I'm used to being the odd one out by now. *shrugs*

1) I always check my phone 3 or 4 times after closing an internet connection (I have dial-up at home). I forgot to close the connection once and realised it more than 30 minutes later, and since phone bills aren't exactly cheap, I've become pretty anxious about it. But maybe obsessive-compulsive would be a better way to describe it. :P
2) I speak in German to a colleague of mine just to spite him, because he's always saying he can't stand German. Childish? Who, me? X) (We're worse than a group of 5-year-olds in my office...)
3) I practise kiwido at least twice a week. And it's not easy, I have to move my chairs and keyboards out of the way to have enough room to move about. Luckily the weather is better now, so I can go to the park and practise there in the weekend. And I brought it along at work today! I'm curious to see how my colleagues will react... X)
4) I often use the word "yes", even when I'm speaking to Italian people. Like when someone calls me I answer "Yes?" or when I get something right I go all "Yeeeeeeees!" It just comes more natural to say "yes" rather than "sì", no idea why.
5) I can never remember the Italian word for "cucumber". I know it in English, German, French, even Polish, (and Milanese dialect, of course :P) but every time I need to say it in Italian, I have to stop and think "What was the word again?" I obviously have problems. X) (The word is "cetriolo" btw, and I had to think about it a few seconds before I could remember. :P)
6) I bite my lower lip in a funny way when I'm concentrating. It's a habit I've had since I was a child, as proved by a pic of me taken while I was learning to ride a bike. :P
I'm not going to tag anyone, feel free to do it if you want to.

Date: 2006-05-12 02:06 pm (UTC)Vous jouez les entremetteuses, hm? ;) And, aww, you'll end by going out with someone! =/
And I wanna see the pic when you were learning to ride a bike! XD (And I have to note "cetriolo", it might be as useful as "ogorek". Or "cornichon". But I don't know if I could say to someone "Cetriolo!" as I might say in French?! XD)

Date: 2006-05-12 02:36 pm (UTC)It's really strange with those two, even my mother keeps asking me "So, did they get together at last?" It looks like everyone knows they are meant for each other but they just don't realise it! XD Tonight we'll find out if they finally understood it. :P
As for me, bah. As I said, there's nothing I can really do about it, I've come to accept the situation. *shrugs*
Hah, I had that pic hanging in my bedroom for years, it was me and my American cousin running beside me. I wonder where it is now...
And if you call someone "cetriolo" you'll get a few funny looks for sure... XD

Date: 2006-05-14 06:32 pm (UTC)You don't know when and where love will hit you X) Just keep the eyes open =P (I should convince myself of that as well *rolls eyes*)
LOL, well, I might try if I ever go to Italy. I can already say byebye to Venice anyway - not that I couldn't go alone, but it would hurt me too much XD And it's expensive. And there was some other reason I can't remember.

Date: 2006-05-14 06:40 pm (UTC)Man, can't they just make up their minds??? XD
Oh, but I know where love will hit me: it'll kick me in the arse. Hard. :P
Wait, wait, wait. You were thinking of going to Venice? WITHOUT TELLING ME??? *uses eeevil!Farin icon* But you're right, Venice is damn expensive.

Date: 2006-05-14 06:50 pm (UTC)Pffff! *rolls eyes* You're absolutely not romantic! =P I perhaps don't know, but YOU EITHER DON'T KNOW, so just stop to be such a pessimist XD
I actually wasn't planning anything, but my aunt showed me recently pics of her trip - with my uncle as well *rolls eyes* - to Venice. Why then? Would you come there with me? =P

Date: 2006-05-14 07:12 pm (UTC)And I used to be romantic a looong time ago, but now I'm just cynical. *sigh*
Well, I don't know if I could've come with you, but I would have given you some advice, like "Be careful, Italian guys are always bothering foreign girls." :P

Date: 2006-05-14 07:34 pm (UTC)Er, well, I'm still allowed to be a romantic, ain't I? And a little bit of optimist? At least, try to. Even if (random stuff = you perfectly know what I wrote there =P). Dammit. Even Brigdet Jones found Mark Darcy. XD
