Of course they played in Italy just a couple of months before I became an Ärzte fan. My timing's perfect as usual. Someone shoot me, please.

Other than that, I finished reading that book about Germany (and promptly started another one, hehe, I'm on a roll.) I knew Bela was playing up some kind of stereotypical guy in the "Unrockbar" video, but I didn't know which one. According to this book, the jogging suit is kind of an East German cliché. Is it true? I'm very curious about cliché and stereotypes, like, there's a way of dressing that we in the North consider quite typical from the South (really flashy clothes for young people and total black with shawls and rosaries for older women.) For example, when I went to see a dialectal play last month, there was a character from the South and you could tell it straight away just from the way she was dressed. I don't know much about this kind of clichés in other countries, so enlighten me!

Also, since we're talking about stereotypes...

I believe it's true. I thought first you wrote "an East cliché" (I have a way to overflow words, that's terrible), and I thought actually of some Polish cliché. o_O Oh, well.

Message to DÄ (parce que je suis égoïste aussi =X): PLEASE PLAY IN FRANCE!!! PLEASE!!!! THE LAST TIME YOU DID IT I WAS 1 YEAR OLD!!! EVEN IN STRASBOURG!!! DAMMIT!! Merde quoi, Strasbourg c'est la frontière, c'est comme le Luxembourg, c'est pas l'Allemagne! Vous allez faire des put*** de concerts à Tokio ou à Tataouine où personne ne vous connaît, mais alors vous êtes pas foutus de voir sur une carte d'Europe qu'à gauche de l'Allemagne, il y a une grosse tâche appelée "FRANKREICH", et que vous pouvez aller faire un concert là aussi! Et en plus Farin sait parler français, ce cornichon, et les deux autres cornichons peuvent aussi aligner trois mots en français, c'est suffisant, non?

As a general rule: words ending in "o" are male and words ending in "a" are female. The male plural ends in "i" and the female plural ends in "e".

Example:

male cat = gatto
male cats = gatti

female cat = gatta
female cats = gatte

And then there are the eeevil exceptions. Sooo interessant, oder? *rolls eyes*

féminin : "chatte"
