Whining and pictures

Nothing much going on lately, I wanted to write and draw something but I'm too tired when I get home in the evening. *sigh* I'm going out tonight, I hope it'll improve my mood.
I knew all that optimism couldn't possibly last long, but it still surprised me, I went from being all happy and hyper because of Farin's concert to being all sad all of a sudden. I'm not really sad, more apathetic, like nothing really interests me. I hate it.
And I can't stand a certain person I won't mention here. He's giving me a headache. And I never get headaches. ARGH! >:O
But enough whining. To make this entry at least a little worth reading, a few Ärzte pictures. Nothing new, but I like them. Found @ http://www.achtanabl-ah.de

I like it when they smile. ♥
Yes, this post is a waste of kilobytes. Bite me.
EDIT: My colleagues just asked me to play some Ärzte songs! WOOT! O_O

Date: 2006-01-25 03:58 pm (UTC)Well, my colleagues were just curious to hear this weird German band I like so much, but they're not enthusiastic. I played "Wie es geht" and one of them commented "Oh, just 3 chords. Mph." *sigh*
I don't know why I'm feeling down. I have no reason to feel down, I should feel great! Why do I have to feel like this? *pouts*

Date: 2006-01-26 03:59 pm (UTC)I don't know much about Sociology except that it works more qualitativly than psychology where research is mostly quantitative. It's the same with Anthropology (Ethnologie) and I really like that approach to research.

Date: 2006-01-26 04:22 pm (UTC)I find Sociology interesting, but I realised I wouldn't want to work as a sociologist, doing researches and the likes. Reading some of the books for the exams I had the impression that the authors simply wrote old and already-known concepts in a new way. For example the "Reflex Theory": mass media reflects the violence of real life and real life reflects the violence of mass media and the two influence each other. And you need 50 pages to tell me that? *sigh*
Also, there weren't any post-degree courses I found interesting at the time, so I got my degree and ran out of university. By the way, my university was (and still is) a real mess, so the idea of staying there wasn't really appealing.

Date: 2006-01-26 04:36 pm (UTC)I have no idea what else you can do as a Sociologist, is there anything particular you'd like to do? (Except becoming the private Sociologist of three very nice old men ;))
And am I getting on your nerves with all these questions?

Date: 2006-01-26 04:59 pm (UTC)The private Sociologist of 3 very nice old men? I have no idea why they would would a "private Sociologist", but I wouldn't complain! XD
I'd like to do something concerning mass media studies, but I don't have an exact idea of what. *sigh*

Date: 2006-01-26 05:05 pm (UTC)Hm, so you'd like to work as a researcher but not at a university? Perhaps for a television chanel or something?
Don't worry, you can answer that tomorrow. :P

Date: 2006-01-25 04:16 pm (UTC)D'you want I send you some songs right now? Dunno..."Männer sind Schweine"? ;) "Mondo Bondage"? ;) Or...dunno, some others?
*huggles* I know how it it, feeling down with no reason. I feel like that quite often too. *sighs* But that's perhaps the stress of the last days?
So, what can I do to make you feel better? :) *hugs*

Date: 2006-01-25 04:26 pm (UTC)I only have "Geräusch", "Runter" and "Endlich Urlaub" on my MP3 player, so I chose "Wie es geht" because I thought it was mainstream enough for them. But they weren't impressed. :P
Thanks for the hug, I really don't know what's wrong with me. *sigh*

Date: 2006-01-26 12:26 pm (UTC)I was surprized when I heard for the first time "Männer sind Schweine", and that I realized that it was the same song as a Polish one, which I was listening all the time with my cousins XD In fact, the Polish band has covered DÄ *g* and their lyrics are less based on sex than DÄ XD If you want, I'll send it you once, so that you'll listen to some Polish by the way =P
*re-huggles* =)

Date: 2006-01-26 01:11 pm (UTC)Well, it was somehow the chance that I heard the polish version. My cousins (two guys and a girl ;)) were fond of it! =) At the same time, I became a DÄ-fan, and when I came back from Poland, I found the DÄ clips, and discovered that there wasn't only a similarity between the two titles ;)
If you find something, share with me! =P
