Thoughts and pictures

Thank God for weekends. This week has been a nightmare, I hope the next one will be better or I really don't know how I'm going to survive.
Yesterday I went to the Keith Haring exposition in Milan with some friends and we opened the gifts our friend from Berlin sent us. We got a personalised CD each plus his official demo (he's a musician in search of a producer) and on each CD there was a sentence and mine was "Always do what you want, not what others expect you to do." I was speechless, that's exactly my problem, I tend to do things to please others and put my own wishes in the background. It's really incredible, we only ever see each other once a year now, how can he know me so well?
And today's picture at www.bademeister.com as well.

How could I forget to mention "Rebell" among the songs I would use as my own personal soundtrack? It's like THE song. *sigh*
And because I'm feeling a little nostalgic, some pics from Berlin. Demi and I at the Hackesche Höfe, I'm the one wearing the long-sleeved jacket. Apparently I was too lazy to use contact lenses that day. :P Photos taken by Stefano, the guy who's going to Düsseldorf with me next November.

Date: 2006-01-22 04:24 pm (UTC)I'd never thought I'd find a place I like more than London, but then I went back to Berlin in 2004 (I'd been there before, but only for a few days on a school trip) and I fell in love with it. It's not as chaotic as London, still it's so full of life and creativity. *re-sigh*

Date: 2006-01-22 04:44 pm (UTC)Well, last week was a nightmare at work, with 278452345 things to do, we barely had time to eat. And what for? To do things for people who don't even care to come to meetings in which we explain how things actually work. And they they call and say "The program doesn't work" and we find out it's them who don't know how to use it. *sigh* So frustrating.
Thanks for the hug, I need all the comforting I can get. *re-hugs* :)
