Happy New Year! I slept about 5 hours (went to bed around 6 and got up around 11), but I feel great. I hope this feeling will last.

Last night turned out much better than I thought it would, we went to a friend of a friend's, ate like pigs and played various games till 5 am. My team won at every game, whoo-hoo! The funniest part was the new edition of Trivial Pursuit, with categories like TV, Gossip and Sport instead of Literature, History and Geography. I answered all the Music questions right. *shit-eating grin* Some of the questions were on a DVD and at one point, in the TV category, there was a video about the fall of the Berliner Mauer. The previous question had been really difficult, so we started brainstorming and said everything we could think of that was somehow related to the subject. Things like "1989!" "9th November!" "No, that would be too easy! Maybe it's about the year it was built..." "1961!" "No, the category is TV, it must be something that has to do with TV..." "Lilli Gruber! I know Lilli Gruber (an Italian journalist) was there in 1989..." We were dreading what kind of question we'd get, but in the end it was about the year of the fall. Tsk.

So, 2005 is over. There were bad moments, mostly job-related, and my summer holidays could have been better (big bad RED coackroach in the shower! Ewww...), but in the end it was a good year. Let's see...

January: Started a bass course. I'd been saying I wanted to do one for years and I finally moved my lazy arse and did. Also, one of my Harry Potter fanfics got translated into Russian!
February: Started tutoring a girl in English, wrote Saiyuki drabbles, joined The Cure Forum.
March: My friends organised a surprise birthday party for me! ♥ I also found out about Curedrink and convinced Demi to go with me.
April: Went to London for Curedrink! We had a lot of fun, made friends with some really nice people and missed the flight back to Milan. Good times. Also read Good Omens, which became one of my all-time favourite books.
May: Perry and Roger left The Cure. I'm still in denial, I don't want to believe I won't see Perry live any more. *sigh*
June: Much talking about the new line-up at The Cure Forum, I obviously had nothing better to do.
July: I was temporarily transferred into our central office. Leaving the place were I used to work before made me a bit nostalgic, that had been my first "real" job. I also didn't know were I was going to work next. Not nice.
August: Hectic month! I was sent to a new office in Milan, so I didn't have to change city in the end. I discovered Ärzte slash! ♥ I missed 2 (TWO!) Cure concerts. :( I went to Barcelona with some friends from Milan and Berlin. The flight back was overbooked so we stayed one day longer. At the airline company's expense, of course.
September: My love for Die Ärzte grew and grew. I got myself Killer and Richy Guitar from Amazon.de and realised my German wasn't completely dead after all.
October: Wrote/drew DÄ fanfics and fanart. Posted audio files. Went to a cool Halloween party.
November: More fanart. Watched Goblet of Fire. Was very happy 'cos of the snow.
December: Another hectic month! Went to Tirol with my mum, spent too much money on Ärzte CDs and DVDs, won an award at The Cure Slash Awards, sent drawings and Christmas cards to people from my flist, got amazing presents for Christmas, had a lot of fun on New Year's Eve.

And that's it. Goodbye 2005, it was fun. Let's hope 2006 will be even better! I never keep New Year's resolutions, but let's try anyway. This year I'll try to:

- play more, both bass and keyboards
- improve my German
- start learning Japanese seriously
- finish what I start *cough*
- be generally less lazy

Yes, I can do it. May the new year bring you everything you wish for!

*hugs* & ♥♥♥

PS: Oh well, let's just throw in a meme as well!
