Christmas cards and small updates

NEWSFLASH: the Christmas cards are done! Before the end of November! I'm shocked. I tried a slightly different style this year, even more cartoonish than usual, I hope the people who'll get them will like them (you know who you are).
Other than that, I started watching "Tokyo Girl" on Amazon Prime Video and I'm currently reading "Convenience store woman" (*GASP* An actual book? Not just fanfiction?), both suggested by a colleague who lived in Japan for a few years, and I'm loving them.
Last but not least, I went to a concert with the above-mentioned colleague last night: we saw Cristina D'Avena, who was the childhood idol of pretty much every Italian child born in the '80s and '90s, as she sang almost all the opening songs of the cartoons that were on TV in those years. She performed with Gem Boy, a band who usually plays parodies of cartoon songs. I saw her playing with them a few years ago and it was one of the funniest concerts I've been to, so when my colleague told me she was going to the concert yesterday, I immediately tagged along. It was a great night, the venue was the same one where Die Ärzte played in May (I hadn't been there in 10 years and now I've gone twice within 6 months), it was packed and everyone was singing and screaming their heads off, it was amazing.
But now I'd better go to bed, I have a training session at work tomorrow and I'm the trainer, it wouldn't be nice if I were to fall asleep in front of everyone...
