ASDFGHJKL In a month I'll be in Los Angeles! Hopefully asleep and not totally jetlagged and staring up at the ceiling.
I'm slowly getting more and more excited. The workshop, seeing Scott Caan on stage twice, meeting up with Nicole (
unbelangbar) again. I'd also like to visit some other places, like San Francisco and San Diego, but nothing's fixed yet. I can't wait! :D

Date: 2012-05-25 07:47 am (UTC)I actually met Nicole in Berlin when I was still living there 2 years ago: it was my last week before coming back to Italy and she was there to see a Rammstein concert.
And I've just realised my last day in Berlin was exactly 2 years go, 25th May 2010. How can it be 2 years already?! D:

Date: 2012-05-25 08:23 am (UTC)Anything in particular you'd recommend in San Francisco? I have a guidebook but it's always better to hear the opinion of people who already visited the place. I think I'll stay 3-4 days. Also, any suggestion about hotels is welcome too. :)

Date: 2012-05-25 01:05 pm (UTC)We stayed in the Holiday Inn financial district for a couple nights - which was fantastic! It borders the financial district and China town and it has a pool on the roof which is surrounded by skyscrapers (the Transamerica pyramid is very near) and then views right down to the bay. We then stayed in a much cheaper place for the rest of our stay and we loved it. It's called the San Remo hotel in North Beach http://www.sanremohotel.com/ We shared a bathroom as that makes it even cheaper - the rooms are gorgeous, it's an old villa that's been converted. It was a bit noisy at night when we were there, as lots of young travellers stay there but we didn't mind that. It was ten years ago though, so maybe check out current reviews?
How are you getting up to SF from LA? Are you driving? The pacific coastal highway is gorgeous so if you are it will be fantastic.
I could go on forever. It was honestly my favourite place I've been to in the world so far (well joint with parts of Greece). If you want to know any more just PM me with your email addy and I'll send you an email.
