gothikmausYesterday was the first day of sales, so I went to Milan determined to find a pair of shoes. It must have been the quickest purchase of my life: I saw the shoes in the shop window, got in, tried them on and bought them. It usually takes me ages to find shoes I like, but this time I got lucky. Here they are:
They were a bit more expensive than my usual standards, but Timberland makes good shoes, so I think they're worth the money. I also had a look at a pair of sandals in another shop, but thought "I already have similar sandals, I won't buy new ones until the old ones split open." And guess what, in the afteroon my right sandal literally split open! It can be repaired, but today I found a pair of super comfortable and cheap ones and since I will be doing a lot of walking this summer and I don't know how much more my poor old sandals can take, I bought them:

I wanted to buy a Pac-Man T-shirt as well, but they only had small sizes. :(
And, to balance all the girly shopping, I bought a book: "50 physics ideas you really need to know", because I never really studied Physics and it's a shame. I mean, I did have it as a subject in school, but our teacher was awful and everyone was failing his class. I (and a couple of others) passed, but just barely. Hopefully this book will make me a little less ignorant in the Physics department.
Ugh, I still need to finish writing the articles for next week's magazine. Better get down to work.
